A man once told me that "Braveheart" used to be his spiritual pillar. For so many years, I still remember him describing to me that William ended up holding the handkerchief that Meilun gave her on the execution ground. Shouting "freedom", he said that whenever he suffered setbacks and suffered inner pain, he said that when he thought of that scene, his inner strength would come back. It can make people miss it repeatedly. From this level alone, this movie also has a full classic style.
Personally, I am not very fond of epic movies, this one feels good, although too many killing scenes still make people feel heartbroken, but I have seen more poetic beauty, fearless heroes, fairy girls, magnificent Mountains, rivers and grasslands, the Scottish organ and the traditional plaid costumes of the Scots... There is also the kind of strength that gathers people's hearts and the cry that seems to penetrate time and space.
