brave Heart

It's super touching, and the last sentence of freedom is super shocking, that's how much pain you have to endure and how strong your heart can be. I like Wallace's bravery, knowing that all the trials and tribulations are in front of me, but I just want to face it regardless. I like his iron-blooded tenderness, fighting for love, even at the cost of his life. I like his calmness in the face of death and resolutely not betray his heart. Love him fighting for freedom like a hero. He said that every man dies, but not every man lives, the meaning of his life may be freedom, or he may not turn back after losing love. But until the last moment of his life, even though he suffered great pain, he wanted to keep his steadfast and brave spirit forever in people's hearts.

It seems that in life, people always say to be a kind and brave person. But for most people, this is just a good wish. In real life, who dares to say that he can be absolutely brave, not to say that he would devote his life to pursue the faith in his heart, and he may not even be able to stick to his heart. That's what makes the movie so touching, because people want to be brave, pure, heroic, but they can't afford that. For the rest of your life, good wishes can only be a faint light lingering in your heart.

I saw in the comments that some people accused the film of crying about freedom as being too simple and naive, but this film is not to discuss freedom, but to show the supreme courage of human beings under a certain belief, and even the fearlessness of power and tyranny. To intimidate and torture, until it penetrates through life. This is Bravehart.

Sophie Marceau looked smirking when he walked alone, and Yide said, "This is called love." Another paragraph: I asked "Why do they all wear like playing cards?" Yide said. Because the playing cards are drawn after them."

Braveheart quotes

  • Hamish: There's somebody coming.

Campbell: MacGregors from the next clan.

MacGregor: We heard about what was happenin' and don't want you "Amadans" thinkin' you can have your fun without us.

William Wallace: Go home. Some of us are in this; can't help that, now. But you can help yourselves. Go home.

MacGregor: We'll have no homes left when the English garrison from the castle comes through and burns us out. And they will!

[Wallace motions for the MacGregors to join them]

  • Robert the Bruce: I'm not a coward. I want what you want, but we need the nobles.

    William Wallace: We need them?

    Robert the Bruce: Aye.

    William Wallace: Nobles.

    [laughs a little]

William Wallace: Now tell me, what does that mean to be noble? Your title gives you claim to the throne of our country, but men don't follow titles, they follow courage. Now our people know you. Noble, and common, they respect you. And if you would just lead them to freedom, they'd follow you. And so would I
