Braveheart - No one is born a hero

I believe in one sentence: a movie, every time you watch it, you will have a different understanding. "Braveheart" is the third time to watch it tonight. The first time, the blood is boiling; the second time, the blood is boiling. But while my blood was still boiling tonight, I saw something different from the previous two viewings.

It may be more extreme, don't spray if you don't like it. And we don't talk about history, we only talk about movie stories.

Needless to say, this is a great and uplifting film that wrote the life of William Wallace's legendary hero and inspired and moved countless audiences. As for its goodness, I won't repeat it, there are overwhelming comments on the Internet; and its badness (personal understanding), I will share with you all.

First, how are heroes made? Wallace, who was orphaned in his youth, was taken away by his uncle. When he returned to his hometown of Scotland in his youth, when he was reminiscing about the old days with three or five friends at other people's weddings, the English soldiers came unexpectedly. and the nobles who control Scotland or England, allowing them the right to the first night of all brides on their fiefs. That is to say, as long as a woman gets married, her first time is not given to her husband, but to the landlord according to law.

And William Wallace, who was later worshipped by the Scottish people like a god, did not resist or had any intention of resisting when the bride was taken away by the landlord. In my opinion, he was just a bystander. That is, when an English soldier stared maliciously at Nolan, Wallace's favorite girl, he was a little bit angry. I understand it as - it's none of my business, just hang up.

Then, Wallace and Nolan got married secretly, and lived a very happy and sweet life that they dared not be open and aboveboard. But happy times are always short-lived. The English soldier intended to QJ Nolan, but was knocked down by Wallace. The two agreed to run away and reunite. As a result, Nolan fell into the clutches of the local landlord and was blocked by a blade. As a result, Wallace, who had lost his lover, was angry and could not bear the misfortune that fell on him. He rebelled.

Chongguan turned into a red face in anger. The great William Wallace, because of the murder of his wife, embarked on a path that he may have thought about, but dared not think much about. First, the villagers helped him kill the landowners and soldiers in England, and England was bound to retaliate. If Wallace chose to escape, he would be sorry for the villagers who helped him fight bloody battles; second, he lost his beloved. His wife, as if he had lost the courage and motivation to live, but he was afraid of death (as he said at the end of the movie), so he had to bite the bullet; thirdly, other tribes came to seek refuge, and the team grew stronger and stronger. Seeing the hope of victory, he breathed the air of freedom that was so close at hand, which was precious.

So, he is not a real hero.

Second, the camaraderie between friends and brothers. I'm a bit picky about writing this, because it's impossible to fully present everything in a three-hour movie. After Wallace's arrest, his troops, his friends and brothers, did not organize or plan even a single rescue. Having played against the iron cavalry of England, what is there to be afraid of? Even if the place where Wallace was imprisoned was heavily guarded and watertight, could he find a royal relative to tie him up and exchange hostages? Whether it is possible or not, if you don't try it, it will never be possible.

In the end, no one understands the realm of heroes. Just when Wallace was brutally tortured on the guillotine and asked him to beg for mercy to avoid the death penalty, two of his most loyal companions were among the crowd watching the fun. The two of them also gently followed the crowd around them and shouted: "Please forgive me! Please forgive me!" This only shows that the two of them didn't know Wallace at all, and they didn't really put themselves in his shoes, and I thought about them both. Come to think of it - let Wallace beg for mercy and bow down to the long-legged Edward who oppressed, exploited, and brutalized the people of Scotland for decades? TM's brain is sick! Scholars can be killed, but not humiliated!

Well, I still can't help but say something good. But don't tell the plot, don't tell the story, let's talk about Sophie Marceau.

In my heart, every appearance of this French girl, every shot, every subtle facial expression and body movement, is like a goddess descended to earth. That arrogance, that strength, that charming, that suffocating surprise really fascinated me deeply. Especially the longing and urgent kiss she turned back after she and Wallace hugged, I still can't forget it until now, and I sighed because I was not that happy man...

Forget it, YY, wait Watch her jerk off for a while!
