It's a movie story told by characters. When we watch a suspense film with character dictation, we need to play 12 points, because what we see is not necessarily the objective fact of what happened, it may be the narrator's trick to confuse our audition. The director is not misleading us all the time. If he is misleading all the time, then we will not have the epiphany when we learn the truth set by him. He needs to keep misleading us on the surface, but keep hinting at us by hiding details and atmosphere, so that the audience will feel that although there is nothing wrong with it, it always feels strange.
