terminator

I watched Terminator 2: Judgment Day. There is no need to say anything more about this movie, it embodies all the virtues that a movie should embody. Every time I revisit this film, I firmly believe that this is the best entertainment film can't surpass. Even now, seeing the action and chase scenes in "MATRIX: RELOADED", I dare to say that except for the addition of Chinese Gongfu Plus, most of the action scenes can almost be found in T2 - what's great and really exciting about T2 is that, even 12 years later, it's still perfect. There are two robots in it, and the fight between them is an "inhuman" fight. The Terminators can do anything that anyone can't do, which provides a broad space for the film's imagination and momentum to be created. And the great thing about T2 is that there is nothing unsatisfactory: from music to lighting, from photography to editing, from script to performance, from action to stunt, from structure to content... Perfection is rare. Even the classic action films such as "THE ROCK", "FACE OFF", "AIR FORCE ONE", etc., are still far from T2 if you want to judge them from a comprehensive perspective. It is said that Cameron has been unable to surpass himself since TITANIC. In fact, since T2 in 1991, he has never been able to surpass such a peak he created.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day quotes

  • John Connor: Are you ever afraid?

    The Terminator: No.

John Connor: Not even of dying?

    The Terminator: No.

John Connor: You don't feel any emotion about it one way or another?

The Terminator: No. I have to stay functional until my mission is complete. Then it doesn't matter.

John Connor: Yeah. I have to stay functional too. I'm "too important".

  • John Connor: We need to get my mother.

The Terminator: Negative. The T-1000's highest probability for success now will be to copy Sarah Connor and to wait for you to make contact with her.

John Connor: Great, but what happens to her?

The Terminator: Typically, the subject being copied is terminated.

John Connor: Shit! Why didn't you tell me? We gotta go right now!

The Terminator: Negative. She's not a mission priority.

John Connor: Fuck you! She's a priority to me!
