Timeline aside, it's a really good movie

I have also watched the Terminator series three times, and I just watched the first two again in the past two days. . Why is Mao so blown away by some T-fans, but his score is not even 9 points? It actually makes sense. This movie is far from being so good. Aside from crossing this timeline, the plot alone is not bad, but there are still many things that don't make sense.

The villain in T2 is the 1000 model. You said it is liquid metal, it can be deformed and can be condensed together by itself. There is no problem with this setting. But at least it has to have a battery and a CPU, both of which have melted into a liquid state. I'm sure these two parts have also melted. As a result, they came together and recovered. This is too ridiculous. . Batteries and CPUs cannot be liquid metal, they cannot be recovered.

In fact, with the skill of T1000, it is too easy to kill the male protagonist and his mother. Since it can transform into people and simple things he has touched, why does Mao have to chase and kill the male protagonist with his own appearance? It turns into a passerby casually, find an opportunity to get close to the male protagonist, and finish the job while he is not paying attention to a few shots, one chance is not enough, and several times are sure, the T1000 can even stick to the ground. Hard work and T800 with firearms are impossible to defend against. . . It is obvious that he can disguise himself, but he shows people with his original appearance and chases and kills the male protagonist. You say that a machine with an extremely high IQ is so funny here? is it possible?

The above 2 o'clock is just a rant by the way. In fact, what I want to say is to cross this time line. In T2, the male protagonist and his mother have said that if you want to cross this matter, your head will explode. The director just uses the mouths of the characters in the movie to interfere with the audience's thoughts, because he knows that crossing this timeline simply cannot stand scrutiny. . This drama is a continuous cycle between the present and the future. Unlike the X-Men, after reversing the future, the original timeline is overturned, which means that the previous plot can be regarded as never happened, and the people who died before are After reversing the future, there is another, and it develops according to a new plot. . But T2 is not, its present and future are a line, and the present and the future influence each other, which is simply impossible. Pushing forward from the back, think about it, Skynet failed in 2029, and the reason for the failure was the leadership of John, an outstanding leader. So why is John so capable of fighting? It was raised professionally by his mother since childhood. For Mao to cultivate his talent in this area? Because his mother knew that he would be a key general of the resistance army in the future. Why do you know? Because she was assassinated by the future T800 robot in 1984 and was saved by her husband, her husband told him. . . So here comes the question. According to this reasoning, is it reasonable in terms of time that there must be the future before the present? If you move from now to the future, the male protagonist and her mother at the beginning don't know what will happen in the future, and don't pay attention to cultivating his fighting ability, will Skynet win in the end? Then there is no need to assassinate them? There are still many similar problems, so the director himself can't make it up without careful consideration of the time line.

Let's talk a few other things, and let's talk about the assassination. Since we can send one T800 back, why not send more? Why do you have to wait until you're about to fail? Wouldn’t it be better to prevent problems before they happen? With Skynet's wisdom, it is not unexpected. . There is no need to wait until 2029, when John shows his ability to come and start to assassinate him, and to send more, not a few at a time, then one today, another tomorrow, and another the day after tomorrow. It happens every day. Judging from the first one that was finally on the production line, the ones with more than T800 are sent every day, and they have to be scared to death if they can't kill them.

And one more thing I was thinking about, John's mom tape told him in the fourth episode, I don't know if you're going to send Kyle, but if you don't send him there won't be you. . . This is also worth thinking about, because given the fact that John was already alive at the time, this theory doesn't necessarily hold. Just imagine, John and Kyle face to face, if John stabs his father to death, then affected by the timeline, John will disappear immediately? If the resistance army did not have John's leadership, many more people would die, and then these people would suddenly turn from living people to a pile of bones? Changed places? is it possible? The world is material, and this given world has already taken shape, and it is impossible to affect this given world because of changes to the past. . If it has an influence, it is also a matter of an equal universe. It forks from a certain time to form a parallel world of another result, without affecting the world that has already been formed. . .

So at the end of the day, the Terminator movies become complete bullshit when you think about the timeline. I am also on a whim, and I am too busy to write such a paragraph. If you have different opinions, please reserve.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day quotes

  • Enrique Salceda: You're pretty famous all over the goddamn TV. Pictures of you and John, your big friend here. Cops are going nuts looking for you.

Sarah Connor: I just came for my stuff. I need clothes, food and one of your trucks.

Enrique Salceda: Hey, how about the fillings out of my fucking teeth?

    Sarah Connor: Now, Enrique.

  • John Connor: Mom and him were only together for one night. She still loves him, I guess. I see her crying sometimes. She denies it, totally of course like she got something stuck in her eye.
