Anger is a precious emotion

I seldom write long reviews. One of the important reasons is that I am too lazy to think and write. But after watching this movie, I was really touched, so I thought of writing a long review to express my feelings after watching the movie. The film tells the mental journey of a racist, from thinking of racial equality, to a change of mind under the indoctrination of his father, to a complete transformation of his father to a racist after being killed by a black man. Under the misguidedness of Cameron, he believes in Nazism. The story of becoming an unstable member in society, beating, smashing, looting and burning, killing black people in the street, and finally being reformed because of conflict and probation after being imprisoned. (At one point I thought this was the end of the story) There are three places in the movie that left a deep impression on me.

One is that the older brother and younger brother said those racist words with indifference (actually, there are two, but the content is the same, as one), shocked that they simply and rudely attributed all social problems to people of different skin colors. , the same in people who are trying to live, and have unprovoked anger at people who have nothing to do, and take drastic actions, even killing people. Shocked and angry at the same time, Cameron, who was hiding behind all the filth, did not touch a drop of blood on his hands, leading those young people who had a bright future astray and pulled them into the abyss. It is very much like the people who are now hiding behind the computer screen to provoke the emotions of young people, provoke this opposition to that opposition, provoke the anger of young people, and consume our enthusiasm. Picking up the phone is one world, putting it down is another world, and I often feel an unreal tearing feeling. Feeling helpless, but helpless, after all, I am often provoked by the remarks on the Internet.

Another is what the mother's lover said to Derek who was out of control at the dinner table: What do you want to prove? Yes, what do you want to prove? Looking back on myself in high school, I just knew a word called feminism, and I desperately wanted to prove that I was a feminist, and desperately wanted to prove how unfair men and women are (of course, inequality between men and women must exist and there are many problems), But the mentality at the time was not to discuss social issues in a healthy way, but simply to prove that I was right and that an idea I knew was right. The less you know, the easier it is to fall into an obsession, and the more you want to prove that you are right, but when you grow up a little, you realize how naive you were.

When I was practicing the car, there was a lot of noise around me, and I was about to stop thinking, so I stopped writing for the time being. Let’s just do it for now, and I’ll add more in a few days in a quiet place.
