love regardless of age

The story is mainly about a love that has nothing to do with age.

Leon and the little girl's love for each other moved us. If Leon hadn't pushed that door open, the little girl wouldn't have gone in, and there would have been no later story. We deeply know that the years are ruthless, even if the age difference is far apart, it does not prevent the two from falling in love.

The 1994 movie is older than many of us. I feel that what I feel most from this movie is that not giving up is love. There are also some good habits. For one's own exercise, persevere every day, and life needs to meet one. People who are willing to change. Come on haha.

Even if love is separated by mountains and seas, I hope you can cross by boat.

The narrative rhythm is clear and smooth, without any muddles; the main characters of Léon, Stansfield, and Mathilda have distinct personalities; coupled with the fast switching screens like MTV, the film catches the audience's attention from beginning to end, which is very rare. Even more because of this film, let the whole world recognize Natalie Portman. ★★★★☆

Léon: The Professional quotes

  • Léon: Stansfield?

    Stansfield: At your service.

Léon: [handing him something] This is from... Mathilda.

Stansfield: [sees that it's a pin for a grenade] Shit.

  • Mathilda: I am writing here the name of a girl in the class who makes me sick. If things get hot, she'll take the heat.
