Avatar is a science fiction film directed by James Cameron, produced by Twentieth Century Fox and starring Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver , the film was released in North America on December 16, 2009 in three formats: 2D, 3D and IMAX-3D. The film mainly tells the story of human beings who put on the body of Avatar and fly to the distant planet Pandora to mine resources. Former Navy Jack, who is wheelchair-bound after being injured, volunteers for the experiment and comes to Pandora in his avatar. After getting acquainted with the local Na'vi princess Netini, Jack is caught in a dilemma in a war between humans and Pandora's military and civilians.
