After reading it, I skimmed the plot a little bit. It was a very ordinary story, but based on the short-term amnesia of the male protagonist, it was told in the form of color flashbacks + black and white narration, which is simply an art full of surprises. Some comments on the Internet are very irritating. There has never been a unified view on the discussion of the truth of the story. Only some people's views are relatively more convincing, but at the same time, they also leave many unexplained loopholes. Oh, this is also some kind of fun to watch a movie. Is this male protagonist what we see, just a sad man who has no motivation to survive and is repeatedly used by others, or is it analyzed by some people, who uses his own memory disease in turn The genius who will be executed by the liar who has been using him? It seems that the journey to find the truth is still going on, or maybe the director deliberately left some bugs in the film, so that the story may have an open ending.

The debut work "Follow" may not be obvious because of the lack of prominent themes. You can look at the later works: the memory in "Shards of Memory" is hard disk and internal memory, the dream in Inception is more like a virtual world, and the ending in "Fatal Magic" is succumbed to the ending His revenge is not like Batman's Batman, not like Joker's Joker...
