"Shutter Island" Self-deception is not necessarily a bad thing! A police officer who strives to find the truth finds that he is the center of the mystery as he gradually approaches the truth! Director Martin Scorsese's control over the atmosphere and rhythm of the film is outstanding, giving the film a strong sense of substitution. Coupled with the advantages of its own storyline and Xiao Li's highly completed performance, it makes it a great movie.
