But after all, the pain in this world is too much, so much that even Jesus can’t bear it again, and finally chooses to die. Prisoners have the opportunity to repent before sitting in the electric chair, saying I'm sorry for what I've done. But what John said before execution was I'm sorry for what I am. The sorry here is not sorry, but regret. He regrets that there is so much pain in this world, that he cannot eliminate it, and that he is gifted with God's mission.
Everything in the world will pay off. Billy, who took advantage of the love between sisters to kill two little girls, is shot to death in prison, and Percy, who is mean, turns into a psychiatrist, and is locked in the briar ridge mental hospital where he was supposed to work. Everything pays off, but as Paul said to Percy after the death of the first prisoner, when a person pays for his sins, he is already innocent. God still have mercy on his soul.
Originally, this is a complete story, and strong's main theme is expressed, but at the end of the film, it is a bit superfluous, talking about the distress of longevity. It really fell short.
