From "Forrest Gump", "Sleepless in Seattle", "Philadelphia" to "Happy Terminal", Tom Hanks has become not only my favorite actor, but also synonymous with quality movies in the world.
Like the other films he has starred in, love this Green Miracle. But there are not many words to describe or praise the deeply repressed picture. Just remembered some words.
Paul: When I died, I stood before God awaiting judgment, and he asked me why I let his miracle die, what should I say, that was my job?
John: You tell God out of good intentions. I know you are sad and anxious, I can feel it, but you have to stop now. Because I want it to end. Really, I'm tired. Tired of being on the road, like a lonely sparrow in the rain. Tired of being without a partner, or telling me where to go, or why. I'm tired of people being ugly to each other and the pain I feel and hear every day. Too much. It's always been like a glass ball in my head. Can you understand?
This reminds me of a question Melinda asked John.
Melinda: Why do you have so many scars? Who hurt you so cruelly?
John: Hardly remember, ma'am.
The answer lies here.
People treat each other ugly, every day.
That's why John was so bruised.
The world is as beautiful as ever. It is a pity that on the backside of beauty, madness breeds human selfishness, ugliness, and darkness. And the sun is always just an illusion.
Love the translation of movie titles. Green miracle. Kind and sensitive John, he is a miracle, a green miracle in a dark world.
