As early as three or four years ago, a friend recommended the movie "Schindler's List" to me, saying that it was a very good-looking movie and told me to watch it. I said yes at the time, but never watched it.

Until one day on the planet, I saw Xiaoni sharing this movie, and she posted a still photo with a girl in red. She said that the entire film was black and white, and only the presence of this girl brought a touch of color.

Because of this girl in red, I suddenly wanted to watch this movie.

"Schindler's List" is a movie based on a true story. It is three hours and nine minutes long, which is probably the longest movie I have ever seen.

For more than three hours, it was very oppressive black and white, which highlighted the cruelty of war in the environment at that time and the gloom of people who yearned for freedom but lived in fear all day long.

In September 1939, the German army ruled Poland. They centrally managed the Jews and locked them in a single district. Every day, they were killed, and they were shot at every turn.

They never need any reason to kill Jews, sometimes they just don't like it, sometimes it's because the man's work is not good enough, and sometimes it's because he's old and can't work. The Jews lost their freedom and could lose their lives at any time. They lived in anxiety every day.

The protagonist of the story, Schindler, was a German arms dealer who came to Krakow, where the German army ruled, to open an enamel factory, specializing in the production of military supplies, employing a large number of Jews and making a fortune in the war.

Later, when the imprisoned Jews were brutally slaughtered by the army, Schindler witnessed their atrocities with his own eyes and was so shocked that his conscience was awakened and he decided to save them at all costs.

He bribed the officer Amon with money, bought 1,200 Jews in the name of buying workers, brought them to his new factory in his hometown, gave them freedom, and provided them with food and drink.

It was not until Germany surrendered that they were liberated and regained their freedom.

The first half of this film is really depressing for over three hours. Watching the Jews lose their homes, be imprisoned in camps and lose their freedom, and be brutalized by Nazi German officers, live in fear of being killed every day.

In the middle part, the little girl in red appeared, her appearance broke the dull black and white, like hope in the dark. She looked innocent, maybe not knowing what was going to happen to her, and no one noticed her, she ducked into the building and found an empty room to hide under the bed.

I thought she could escape, but she was murdered unexpectedly.

From here on, Schindler was still a businessman, but he was no longer the profiteer who only wanted to make more money. He felt that he should do something to the Jews. He paid them to get them out of this massacre.

It is also from here that the film no longer feels that heavy and depressing, and it is Schindler who brings hope to people.

Schindler's goodness contrasts with the evil of German officer Amon. He is the number one villain in the film. He treats Jews like ants. Killing a person is like pinching an ant to death.

How ugly a person's heart is, how cruel his behavior is.

What touched me the most in the whole play was at the end, after the surrender of Germany, the Jews were liberated. When Schindler parted with them, he always regretted that he did not save one more person, regretted not selling the car, regretted wasting too much money, Regretting that he didn't do all he could to save them, he still felt guilty.

But he has actually done a lot of hard work and sacrifice. He initially wanted the war to last as long as possible so he could make more money. Later, he bought more than a thousand Jews and brought them to the new factory to continue producing military supplies.

But in the seven months that the factory was fully operational, Schindler's factory never produced any usable weapons, on top of that he spent millions to keep his workers afloat and pay for Nazi officers .

Some people say that Schindler deliberately adjusted the scale of the machine, causing the product to fail the test, and then he spent extra money to buy someone else's product to deliver it.

He said I would be very unhappy if our factory produced any cartridges that could be fired successfully.

He doesn't care that he goes bankrupt, maybe he realizes that the business he did in the past has indirectly brought disaster to the Jews, and wants to reduce the crime through his own efforts and stop producing these products that cause people pain.

After watching this movie, my heart is not only depressed, but also very heavy, for the past that has become history, for those who lost their lives innocently in the war.

Also sad for the evil of human nature, they are the demons of the world, bring endless darkness to the world, and never have love in their hearts.

But at the same time, I am very grateful for the peace that we have now, and I am glad that I was born in a peaceful age, in a country without war.

The peace we have now is what our ancestors exchanged with countless blood. How lucky we are to have freedom. The world is still worthwhile, because it has more good in addition to evil, and is making our world a better place.
