I only watched [New Hope] in 2012, why should I come to talk about feelings?

I think Star Wars comes in the chronological order of Star Wars, which is 1234567.
When I was 14 years old, I learned about "Attack of the Clones" through a magazine. At that time, the film only made me stunned by the plane model of the spaceship and the figure on the paper, and I couldn't wait to watch it. That same year, I also met The Lord of the Rings. To this day, I still have this magazine in my collection.
Later, when I became an adult and became 30 years old, a 13-year-old boy wanted to watch a movie and asked me for a recommendation. I did a rough filter in my mind, excluding most of the movies with "not suitable for children" content, and packaged and copied "Star Wars" and a few other movies to him. Unexpectedly, this very random recommendation turned out to be the most successful Amway I have ever sold. He started to love everything about Star Wars, saved money to buy Star Wars Lego sets, cosplayed as Darth Vader to watch the premiere of "The Force Awakens"... I may still be just a viewer, he has become a fan.
The day The Force Awakens came out, after watching the zero-point show, we went on to talk late (or very early), and all of a sudden, I thought he was lucky, and so was myself. The 16-year-old agrees. I saw my own shadow in him. They were all half-year-old children. At an age when I had a desire to explore the unknown world, I was opened up by such a movie. Calling it baptism is no exaggeration.
This is why I, who only watched "The Phantom Menace" in 2004 and "A New Hope" in 2012 and almost fell asleep, want to talk about my feelings here?
A person can go through a lot in a lifetime and watch more and better movies, but it's hard to forget the first movie that influenced you the most. For me, it was the magazine, Attack of the Clones. Those incomprehensible obsessions since then have all found their origins here.
Although I have never participated in any of the prosperous times of Star Wars, I can imagine from my personal experience that in 1977, when Star Wars was first released, what kind of impact it had on millions of me and a collective.
Finally, back to the movie itself, some people say that the plot of the Star Wars series has always been just barely qualified, I have no objection, and I don't really care. When "Star Wars" has developed into a culture, and movies are only a kind of wedges and cultural products, as long as the plot can justify itself, make fans satisfied and passers-by happy. I actually like the simplicity of the original trilogy, the simple stories, the simple truths, the simple opposites, but the elegance, so I was especially sad when The Force Awakens became rude and elegant.
The most fascinating thing about "Star Wars" is that it only presents so much, but it leaves you and me so much. Imagination has no boundaries, "Our journey is the sea of stars", such romantic and magnificent words, I only dare to say to Star Wars.

The first time I saw it was in the 1980s, when Reagan visited China and organized an American film week. Although the subtitles are not fully recognized, they are still dumbfounded.

With today's harsh and critical eyes, this is a fake and simple movie. Few people around me know about it, let alone watch it, but in 1977, it affected too many people. In that era, it made me feel magical and incredible. For personal experience, it is recommended that novices watch in the order of 456123, otherwise there will be less suspense and fun. PS: R2 and 3PO are so cute.
