Why does Hannibal eat people?

For ordinary people, cannibalism is an unacceptable thing. This unacceptability applies not only to humans, but to other animals as well. For example, news of the greenhouse effect, melting icebergs, and polar bear cannibalism can be distressing and surprising. Imagine if a dog owner would feed their dog dog meat? Do you feel horrified to hear such news or rumors?

But Hannibal did just that. He doesn't consider all living beings as his kind.

If you have seen the "Young Hannibal" in the Hannibal series, you should know that Hannibal witnessed his little sister being killed and eaten meat when he was a child. The reason is human instinct: to eat when hungry. And Hannibal himself was poured into his sister's broth while he was almost in a coma to survive. This is Hannibal's motivation to start eating people when he grows up. At first, it was to eat the enemy who had killed and divided his sister, but later, it got out of hand.

I think the reason why Hannibal is so polite, restrained, disciplined, and elegant now is not only because he received a good education as a child, but also because this childhood experience made him want to be with those who ate his sister (barbaric) , those who cannot control their own desire instincts) develop in the diametrically opposite direction. Later, he was proficient in psychology and could easily see through a person and the public. He looked down at all living beings, and saw that human beings always failed in the struggle against instinct, but he was able to control himself perfectly. At this time he no longer regards human beings as the same kind.

When high-level predators see low-level animals, one thing always comes to mind - hunting.

One thing's for sure, Hannibal loves Sterling. When one day Sterling is no longer graceful, beautiful, sensible, restrained, no longer concerned about all living beings, and there are no lambs in her dreams, will Hannibal leave gracefully, or will she be disappointed to eat Sterling Woolen cloth?
