The filming is OK, but the original plot is not.

After finishing the Lord of the Rings trilogy at 3x speed + fast-forward, the film is good, but I feel that the original book is too well-known... The plot is procrastinating and boring, even if the characters are thin, the key is the lack of creativity, I feel like the original author made a simple design first. Determined, and then push the plot forward and backward from a point. If the plot is too bland, add a little twists and turns, and increase the setting by the way. The fighting style feels like it's just copying reality. It can be said to be a very good childhood fantasy, but it is too inappropriate to call it epic. Some people say that the Lord of the Rings unites the creatures in various myths, but if the names of these creatures and countries in the play are replaced, will there be a big difference? It's still too far from Journey to the West... I really don't know why so many people like the Lord of the Rings, is it because the world is simple and there is no real world intrigue? 20 minutes of credits Regarding these three films, I think the first one is the most boring, and the second and third are okay, because there are plot branches, but it still can't escape the fact that the original book is boring.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers quotes

  • [Aragorn walks through the ranks of Elven defenders of Helm's Deep]

Aragorn: [In Elvish] Show them no mercy... for you shall receive none!

  • Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.

Aragorn: [whispering to Eowyn] It's the beards.

Gimli: And this in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no Dwarf-women, and that Dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground!

    [Eowyn laughs]

Gimli: Which is, of course, ridiculous.
