Viewing time: 2021.04.24 12:40-19:00

Location: Tianjin China Film International Cinema

Activity organization: Peach Blossom Island Film Group

I am honored to participate in the marathon viewing event of the first two films of "The Lord of the Rings" organized by the "Peach Blossom Island Film Group".

The second film is nearly 3 hours long and depicts in detail the various difficulties and obstacles on the way to escort the Lord of the Rings.

Since the first part has already introduced the story background and character relationships in detail, the focus of this "Lord of the Rings" is the specific depiction of the war. In turn includes the current state of each race, the alliance between the races, and finally the war that took place in two different locations. Compared with the first film, the plot of this film is relatively concise. From the first half of each race to the gradual assembly of each race, to the final battle that lasted for more than an hour, there is no urine point, although the protagonist has not yet reached the flame mountain. To destroy the Lord of the Rings, but it is very much looking forward to the release of the next one. In short, the plot of this film is compact, and the epic battle part occupies almost half of the film's duration. It is definitely worth the ticket price, not to be missed!

Finally, I would like to thank the "Peach Blossom Island Film Group" again for organizing the two consecutive screenings of "The Lord of the Rings", allowing fans to experience this epic masterpiece again in theaters.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers quotes

  • [Aragorn walks through the ranks of Elven defenders of Helm's Deep]

Aragorn: [In Elvish] Show them no mercy... for you shall receive none!

  • Gimli: It's true you don't see many Dwarf-women. And in fact, they are so alike in voice and appearance, that they are often mistaken for Dwarf-men.

Aragorn: [whispering to Eowyn] It's the beards.

Gimli: And this in turn has given rise to the belief that there are no Dwarf-women, and that Dwarves just spring out of holes in the ground!

    [Eowyn laughs]

Gimli: Which is, of course, ridiculous.
