Tough turning point, unique idea

nice! The whole first season revolves around the male protagonist being forced by a terminal illness, in order to leave a considerable fortune to his family, the process from a legal citizen to a drug maker. In order to make an objective evaluation, I deliberately commented without watching the next season, because it is the first season, so it needs to be treated objectively.

In terms of the plot, the overall rhythm is slow, which is understandable. The play has spent a lot of effort in shaping the characters. Through the handling of details and feelings, the rigid image of a chemistry teacher who works honestly and is submissive on weekdays is fully presented, especially in the first episode, except for Terminally ill, there is almost no plot push. If I hadn't read the plot synopsis in advance, I'm afraid I would have been dissuaded by the slow pace.

This is nice, but also creates a loophole. In theory, a good old man like the hero will go through a long period of psychological entanglement before he makes up his mind to commit a crime. But these are hardly reflected in the play. This drama tries hard to create an image contrast, but it is too rigid. From learning about cancer to deciding to make drugs, there is almost no psychological obstacle, which will make the audience feel inexplicable. So deduct one star.

The idea of this play is quite good. I personally think that it focuses on the issue of "what role does the law play in the face of death, and whether morality is more important than money and family". The male protagonist's family is already impoverished, his son is disabled, his wife is pregnant with a second child, and he is suffering from a terminal illness. All factors add up to become the reason for his crime. Is it enough? At least for him, it was enough to fight for his life. Interestingly, the story is very dramatic, the hero's brother-in-law is a drug cop, and his own wife is quite smart. These make the story somewhat add some ups and downs in the middle and late seasons, and maybe even more foreshadowing.

In short, after the relationship with the big drug lord at the end of the play, the business of the hero has taken a step forward. I hope the next season will be even more exciting!
