"Do not go gentle into that good night"---Dylan Thomas
Do not go gentle into that good night,
Do not go meekly into that good night
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
The day is coming to an end, even the old will burn and roar
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Roaring, roaring against the sky
Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
The wise know that darkness is the end of all things
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Their words can no longer provoke lightning strikes
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Do not go meekly into that good night
Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Kind people, weeping before the final waves
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
They could have let the fleeting footprints dance on the green bay.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Roaring, roaring against the sky
Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
The crazy people who used to chase and sing the sun
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
It's too late to wake up, they mourn the end of the day
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Do not go meekly into that good night
Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
The dying man stares with blurry vision
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Blind eyes can still shine like shooting stars at the last moment
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
Roaring, roaring against the sky
And you, my father, there on the sad height,
And you, my father, swore an oath at the height of grief
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Pray for me with tears and I will pray
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Do not go meekly into that good night
Director Nolan can always make me amaze him again, and I like this movie very much.
When I watched it for the first time, I could not help crying in the theater.
Later, when I heard the soundtrack and the speech in front of me again, I still couldn't help but feel sore nose.
What moved me the most was not its nearly perfect picture and soundtrack, nor its gorgeous space special effects, nor the many important clues and scientific theories arranged by Director Nolan, but that Cooper, watching the videotape, suddenly realized that he had returned to the film. Don't go to that moment, the theory of relativity of time, the irreversible moment after the passage of time... In order to save the earth, he left her, and then suddenly found that he missed so much, how painful and regretful that moment must be...
What a terrifying experience for her from the beginning of hope to despair.
To miss is to miss, and there is absolutely no turning back.
There are also many moments in life that are hard to look back on, people and things that are missed. At that moment, I couldn't help but feel a knot in my heart, and more importantly, even if he went back, he might not be able to see her.
Even if he saw her, it was different from what he imagined.
The most perfect thing about this drama, I think, is to show the result of time being out of sync and the passage of time and space.
Not to mention all the scientific issues, human issues, and the energy of the actors that it contains, I can't help but feel that this is the number one movie in my mind in recent years.
