asshole role model

I watched The Godfather today. I didn't recognize that cautious, innocent and slightly naive young war hero at first, until the film was put in 2/3 when he came back to take over his father's family, and the cold rebelliousness in his eyes made me recognize it, it turned out to be from a young age Al Pacino. I sighed in my heart, wow, it turns out that Al Pacino was so young, and the next second I found out that it was nonsense...

Meg Ryan in "Electronic Love Letter" asked in puzzlement, "What makes men so Obsessed with "The Godfather"?" Tom Hanks replied, "It's the Bible for our men, and it contains all the wisdom."

Well, I want to say, as a woman, I also love this movie. Well, a class teacher in junior high school said that my personality is actually very boyish. In fact, I love watching this type of film, as long as there are no disgusting scenes like chainsaws.

Do you spend time with your family? Good. Because a man that doesn't spend time with his family can never be a real man.

My eyes lit up when I saw this sentence. Godfather, you are my dream-man! I certainly wouldn't say Marlon Brando is my dream man, the world knows he's a veritable bastard. He keeps getting married and getting divorced. Behind him are six suicidal mistresses, 17 lawyers, around 25 unfortunate children and a massive £11m debt. He is selfish, violent, irresponsible, and extremely emotional. He is lonely and gloomy, he can't love, or he doesn't want to love.

After checking his astrolabe, it turned out to be a lot of Xing Chong. The Moon has severe punishment, the Moon to Pluto, and the Moon to the Fire.

What makes me wonder is how he feels when he says this line. Do you have any guilt for your previous wives and children? Because he often does not make time to spend with his family.

Don Corleone on screen has power and power. He's elegant, and his Italian accent makes him a little bit inarticulate.

I spent my whole life trying not to be careless. Women and children can be careless. But not men. Women and children can be careless, but men cannot.

You could act like a man. What's the matter with you? Is this what you've become, some Hollywood finnochio that cries like a woman? [mockingly imitates Johnny] Oh, Godfather, what am I gonna do? What am I gonna do ? You have to act like a man. What happened to you? That's what you learned in Hollywood, cry like a woman? (Mock Johnny) Oh godfather, what should I do?

You talk about vengeance. Is vengeance going to bring your son back to you? Or my boy to me? You talk about vengeance. Can revenge bring your son back to life? or mine?

Such a bastard has acted as a role model for countless boys, teaching boys how to be a real man.

He taught by words and deeds on the screen, a man should be responsible and responsible, and should be strong and generous. Love your wife, take time to accompany your wife and children, no matter how busy your daughter's wedding is, you must dance with her. Do not hate your enemies, because that will affect your judgment.

Is it a bit ironic?

The Godfather quotes

  • Capt. McCluskey: I thought I got all you Guinea hoods locked up! What the hell are you doing here?

Michael: What happened to the men who were guarding my father, Captain?

Capt. McCluskey: I pulled them guys off of here, eh, now get away from this hospital!

Michael: I'm not leaving until you put some guards around my father's room.

Capt. McCluskey: Phil, take him in!

Cop with Capt. McCluskey outside hospital: The kid's clean Captain, he's a war hero! He's never been mixed up with the rackets...

Capt. McCluskey: Goddamn it Phil, I said take him in!

Michael: What's the Turk paying you to set up my father, Captain?

Capt. McCluskey: [to Patrolmen] Take a hold of him. Stand him up. Stand him up straight.

[punches Michael and breaks his jaw]

  • Sollozzo: [to Michael, in Sicilian] I am sorry. What happened to your father was business. I have much respect for your father. But your father, his thinking is old-fashioned. You must understand why I had to do that. Now let's work through where we go from here.

[Michael tries speaking in Sicilian, but can't express himself properly, so with a quick look at McCluskey they both switch to English]

Michael: What I want... what's most important to me is that I have a guarantee: no more attempts on my father's life.

Sollozzo: What guarantees could I give you, Mike? I'm the hunted one. I've missed my chance. You think too much of me, kid. I am not that clever. All I want is a truce.

Michael: I have to go to the bathroom. Is that all right?

Capt. McCluskey: You gotta go, you gotta go.

[Michael gets up, but a suspicious Sollozzo probes Michael's crotch, to Michael's offense]

Capt. McCluskey: I frisked him. He's clean.

    Sollozzo: Don't take too long...

    [Michael heads to the bathroom]

Capt. McCluskey: [to Sollozzo] I frisked a thousand young punks.
