human epic

I remember that when I was young, I read the book at least twice, and I felt that it was too long and boring. It may be related to age, and I don't know what desire is. Rewatching it again this time, I forgot all about the plot. It was like watching a new movie, but I really enjoyed it (people have so many changes in taste with age!)

The beginning of the chapter subtly describes the desires of different races under the Lord of the Rings: the desire to become the king of the world, the desire to save one's own nation... The depiction of various worldly desires resonates with me very much. Only a happy and contented Hobbit can escape for a while (the enjoyment of eating three breakfasts a day drinking and dancing on the grass with bare feet is really not something ordinary people can enjoy with this blessing)

I think the Lord of the Rings can't really make the ring bearer's dream come true. It seizes the deepest and most eager desire in everyone's heart to lure him and magnify it infinitely, but most people in the world cannot escape this temptation. At that moment, the kind Bilbo, the brave and brave bearded men, became slaves of desire, and Gandalf and Aragorn were only able to keep themselves from touching the Lord of the Rings.

The Lord of the Rings also portrays many glorious qualities: courage, oath, will, all of which are moving. Humans, elves, hobbits, dwarves, wizards, 9 people embarked on an expedition for different purposes. Different races unite for the same goal and take us to slowly show a whole magical Middle-earth world. This kind of story setting is really exciting.

Aragorn is the true king of mankind. Not to mention being handsome, he feels at ease following him. When I heard that Frodo was going to destroy the ring, he immediately knelt down in front of him and said, "You have my sword." I was so moved! The bearded man of the expedition? Lard is blinded to grab the ring, but in the next battle, he is a real warrior again, and he still does not fall down after several arrows (then—thick arrows !) Take your last breath and slash the enemy, and die with dignity and greatness??

It's no wonder that The Lord of the Rings has endured for so long. The movie's setting of different worlds in Middle-earth is still top-notch today. There are many imitations and references in other films. I also see many shadows of Harry Potter. Compared with Harry Potter, it is a bit like pretending to be a house wine? Dementors are very similar to the Ringwraiths, but the more ingenious design of the Ringwraiths is that it abandons humans in the real world. The shape of the black hood, but in the secluded world is the face of the person they once really owned. Very subtle settings, how much ingenuity! What a genius Tolkien is!

Looking forward to the next two! After reading it, I plan to re-read the book~

The 228-minute version is really long. The story is simply good and bad, and the scene is magnificent. I prefer magical themes.

The elves are so handsome ٩(๑´3`๑)۶, for a nympho, beauty is enough. The plot is not bad, but still obsessed with beauty
