Morpheus is more like the protagonist in my mind

Morpheus was the first prisoner to be released among these people. He walked out of the cave and emerged from the mother world. He opened his eyes that he had not used for a long time and saw the real world. Then he returned to the cave again, to persuade his companions, with support and doubts. Then he was betrayed, nearly died, and was forced to contend with the system with disparity in manpower.

When Neo was shot, I honestly had a lot of joy in my heart. I want him to die just like that. In the movies where humans compete with machines, it seems that humans can only rely on some kind of luck, some kind of magical indescribable, for example, a kiss from Trinity wakes up the dead Neo, to get some kind of awakening, some kind of success.

Are these lucky, magical, and even a little sudden external forces possessed by humans themselves, or are humans born with the aura that they are born with as the protagonist.

I have no idea.

And I know that when I saw Morpheus tied to a stool by an agent, injected with a program, forced to say the host password, but still used his own consciousness to fight stubbornly, I felt some kind of completely human tenacity and resistance .

Even that resistance is like an ant against an elephant.

But, maybe the result is nothing to worry about. Every confrontation, every action, every drop of sweat on Morpheus' forehead makes me sigh at the truth and greatness of people.

Instead of those unscathed, handsome and unrestrained fights.

I'm imagining an ending where Neo wakes up from his bed again after being shot. This time, Neo, like countless others who have fought against the system before, failed. But a new round of confrontation has begun.

Philosophy, theology and atheism. Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism and Christianity. Enlightenment, Nirvana and rebirth. Reality and surrealism. Countless metaphors and symbolism, setting and plot worthy of contemplation. I can't believe this at all. It's a science fiction action movie.

The Matrix quotes

  • Morpheus: Welcome to the real world.

  • Cypher: All I do is what he tells me to do. If I had to choose between that and the Matrix, I'd choose the Matrix.

    Trinity: The Matrix isn't real.

Cypher: I disagree, Trinity. I think that the Matrix can be more real than this world. All I do is pull a plug here, but there... you have to watch Apoc die.
