A Song of Ice and Fire - Game of Thrones

"Game of Thrones" is based on the seven-part fantasy masterpiece "A Song of Ice and Fire" by American author George R.R. Martin. It is an epic fantasy masterpiece.
The story takes place in a completely different fictional world, and tells the story of the power struggle in Westeros, for the highest power symbol "Iron Throne"; the core of the whole story is the two major families, House Stark and Lannister. Conflict of power in the family, grievances between giants. Other major families are also involved in the struggle for power, and the political situation is complicated. At the same time, two forces outside the seven kingdoms are also expanding. They are the Targaryen brothers and sisters from the sea on the other side, and the other Coming from beyond the north of the Seven Kingdoms, the land where the frozen supernatural threat has been secretly breeding for years; this show is very different, it can be said to be unprecedented, and it is an exaggeration to say that no fantasy drama can have it. So bizarre and dark, yet incredibly real and natural. Every character in the play is extremely complicated. Whenever you think you know a character and see their true colors clearly, but this is not the case, it makes people worry. The conflict of moral concepts is more full than some black and white stories.
The characters in the play are very vivid, and each character is quite wonderful from acting to the shape of the characters. Some scenes and the costumes of the characters in the play are more based on the medieval style, plus some more imaginative design inspirations. Makes every detail in the whole play without any contradiction.
Love and hate, greed and murder, I highly recommend this show.

Game of Thrones quotes

  • Stannis Baratheon: We march to victory, or we march to defeat. But we go forward. Only forward.

  • Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: The realm. Do you know what the realm is? It's the thousand blades of Aegon's enemies. A story we agree to tell each other over and over until we forget that it's a lie.

Lord Varys: But what do we have left once we abandon the lie? Chaos? A gaping pit waiting to swallow us all.

Petyr 'Littlefinger' Baelish: Chaos isn't a pit. Chaos is a ladder. Many who try to climb it fail and never get to try again. The fall breaks them. And some are given a chance to climb; they refuse. They cling to the realm or the gods or love. Illusions. Only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is.
