I recall the first time I watched FIGHT CLUB, it has been half a year, but I often feel that the philosophy of fighting is all around us. So today I'm going to post a little emotion.
People often say that this story is absurd, but what is absurd is not the story but our real life. Seduced by material life, jumping into the abyss of material life, and finally being ruthlessly abandoned by material life, this is probably our whole life. We are often tempted to be polluted by boring and vulgar things in body and mind, and become what society needs? Society educates us to have high income, social status, and then become so-called successful people? However, we finally found out that it was only us who were deceived, and everything was shit! As Taylor famously said in the film,
"Your job doesn't represent you,
your bank account number doesn't represent you
, and the car you drive doesn't represent what's in your
wallet. Things don't represent you
Clothes don't represent you
You're just one of the crowd
Damn a
whole generation of gas workers, waiters, or white-collar slaves
Ads tempt us to chase cars and fashion
So we work hard
Buying that useless shit
We are A generation forgotten by history with
no purpose, no status,
no world war, no depression
, our war is a war of hearts,
our life is a depression,
we watch TV and
believe that one day we will be millionaires, movie stars, or Rock star
But
we won't
This is the reality we're gradually facing
So
We're so fucking provoked"
We do get really provoked a lot, but more often than not, we're paralyzed. Because everyone is like that, we have no real goals, no noble pursuits. Don't hate the stories The narrator's life, because we're not as good as him, he's had a magical experience, what have we? He's been through chaos, excitement, and finally found true love, what can we get?
Movies are movies, life Gotta go on. The dream is beautiful because she's not real enough. "If you wake up at a different time in a different place, could you wake up as a different person?" YES! I WANT TO BE SOMEONE ELSE! A different life, but I can't! I don't even have the courage to split.
Well, maybe I'm a coward--
maybe, this is contemporary life--
yes, it's your life too--
