PERFECT INCEPTION

I have to say that INCEPTION has been hyped by the Internet for most of the sky, so that a lazy person like me bought a movie ticket.

At the beginning of the film, because there was a pair of brain-dead men and women sitting next to me, the man kept spoiling the girl next to me. It seems that he has done a lot of preliminary work. It is estimated that a lot of content has been collected online. . Blah, blah, blah... After talking nonsense for about ten minutes, my ears finally calmed down. In fact, if you go to the movies after you know the plot, you will be a little bit 2. Why do you still spend your spare money? Just YY directly.

Although some people on the Internet said: Only people with high IQ can understand INCEPTION. The more this is the case, shouldn't it be better to look at it by IQ?

Well, let's get down to business, I think this movie is really well done, and it is the best one in the suspense genre I've seen in recent years. Compared with those bad movies that disgust you when you watch them all, but don’t let you understand them, and those brain-dead movies that know the end after watching the beginning, it not only allows the audience to experience the situation, but also drives everyone to turn their own The brain, constantly approaching the so-called essence, and then constantly denying its previous conclusions. INCEPTION is really a movie that makes people watch heartily.

Compared with the director's previous films, this movie is the most worth watching so far. The question is, dear Christopher Nolan, will this film be your stepping stone into a whole new concept of cinema, or will it be the culmination of a climax? Let's wait and see.

--------------------------------------- (There will be a lot of spoilers below)-- -----------------------------------------

In fact, in the first hundred or so minutes of the movie, I have been thinking about a question: why should the story be set in a dream? I admit it is a very bold and very innovative idea. But why kidnap the "Fu Erdai" in a dream, then use his FAKE godfather to set the password, and then introduce him to a FAKE hospital, let him see FAKE's father and will, and then have an epiphany, himself I want to destroy the EMPIRE created by my father.

Can't all this be done in real life? With Hollywood's ability, high technology, and "magic pen" screenwriters, they can send actors wherever they want, the South Pole, it's too close, send it directly to the sun, or parallel space, or travel everywhere, From ancient times to the future, what is your love? To find a few more big muscles, aliens who can easily change their faces, it would be easy to get the "rich second generation" to submit. Moreover, in reality, the image of the protectors of the "rich second generation" can become more vivid, and the battle scenes will be more interesting. Why design the plot in a dream? If it's just to highlight the novelty and specialness of the "dream" element, then I'm so disappointed in Christopher Nolan. Sure enough, I think the director played the "dream" element superbly, especially the climax and ending of the film. (Details will be given later)

I think this "dream within a dream" has four layers. In addition, there is also a LIMBO (Lost Domain), that is, the dreamer has not woken up, but the self in the dream is dead. The first three layers of dreams are relatively easy to understand. After repeated KICKs (traversing, that is, entering another layer of dream space with the help of external force), we arrived at the Snow Mountain Territory, which is the most tightly protected layer. At this level, the "rich second generation" was shot by Nobb's protector, the shadow of his deceased wife. According to the ideas instilled in us by the previous film, the "rich second generation" should have entered the state of LIMBO, and then was hidden by the shadow of his deceased wife. Therefore, Nobb and Little Loli Ariadne entered LIMBO together (that is to say, you can enter Limbo state without dying), Little Loli rescued the "rich second generation", was KICK layer by layer, and returned to the second layer of dreams - was rescued from the water.

Nobb went looking for Japanese in LIMBO. It turned out that the Japanese had become an old man, while Nobb was still very young. what happened? In fact, it is understandable that Limbo is a lost domain, the time in it can no longer be calculated according to normal time, and there is the most chaotic subconscious in it. In fact, we can see that the Japanese have actually spent a long time "manufacturing" one of his EMPIREs in LIMBO. However, on the Internet, many people define this layer as the "fourth layer of dreams", perhaps they have different personal views.

Let's talk about that weird ending, which is quite controversial. There are different opinions on the Internet, some people say that it is back to reality; some people say that this drama was a dream from the beginning; another said that everyone is still in a dream, and I myself prefer such an ending. Nobb seems to have returned to reality, and then returned to the United States as he wished, and saw his children. But I think he was actually brought to the "fourth-level dream" by KICK, a dream created by a little loli for him. The reasons are as follows:

1. The gyro is obvious. It was still being forwarded and forwarded until the end of the show.

2. After Nobb returned home, the two little dragons who "mixed the mud" were still "mixing the mud" with perseverance, their clothes had not changed, and they had not grown up. The reason why he didn't see the shadow of his deceased wife was because he had completely gotten rid of her, and all this was due to the little Loli.

3. So how did the group of partners who appeared around him explain it?
At first, I thought that everyone accompanied a KICK for him, but later found it unrealistic, except for the handsome guy Arthur who is very similar to Jude Law's robot image in "AI", and the little Loli willing to "travel for Nobb" "Besides, it seems unlikely that anyone else, especially the greedy Japanese.

Since the previous three-layer dream had all his partners participating, in the fourth-layer dream, even without the intervention of his partners, he still created these people in his subconscious mind, as he said, "the subconscious mind cannot Controlled." The same technique has already been applied to the Godfather.

And everyone noticed that he didn't have much interaction with the group of partners on the fourth-floor dream plane. It seems counterintuitive.

4. What is Nobb doing so much for? Money? All to the pharmacist. He is to return to the United States with integrity and to be with the children. So, in order to help him realize his dream, Little Loli created a fourth-level dream. And all this, only Little Loli knows, and only she can do it. At the beginning of the "teaching" process, we learned the skills of little loli's dream-making skills. And only Little Loli knew about Nobb's real problem, and helped him get rid of the shadow of his deceased wife.

Moreover, Little Loli also knew that Nobb missed the opportunity of KICK when he was in LIMBO, so that in the end, everyone except him was returned to the first layer of dream by KICK. Well, for Nobb, wanting to KICK back to reality seems to be full of resistance, because the third and second layers of dreams have been destroyed. Instead, let Nobb enter the fourth dream and fulfill his wish.

Then the effect of the drug has passed, and he and the Japanese were brought back to reality by KICK. This explanation seems to work, but it is contrary to reasons 1 and 2, and it is contrary to the film itself.

5. I think this ending is the best way to express the "dream" element. If it is placed in reality, it cannot be expressed. Just like the disgusting suspense "Ghost Mirrors" I watched before, at the end, although the male protagonist defeated the evil ghost, he was locked in the mirror forever in the end, and he could not even be sure whether he was alive or dead.

At the end of the film, the top keeps spinning and it's over. This ending is really good cut. In fact, everyone thinks along the top, no matter what the ending is, there will be a group of audience disappointed. If the top falls, a bunch of people who think the same way as I do will be disappointed - the bland ending of the dog's tail. If the top does not fall, but, pay attention to the "but", Nobb will eventually find the top that is still spinning, and he will know that it is still a dream; even if the top is not found, but he will wake up eventually, then will he have a personality? What about splits? And viewers who like happy endings will be disappointed again.

PS: I don't agree with the ring one. If it is said that wearing a ring in a dream, but not wearing it in reality, then can I understand that because Nobb has been trapped in the shadow of his deceased wife in the dream, he still wears the ring. Later, with the help of Little Loli, he got rid of the shadow, so even in the dream, he didn't have to wear the ring anymore.

  • Eames: Great. Thank you. So, now we're trapped in Fischer's mind battling his own private army, and if we get killed, we'll be lost in limbo till our brains turn to scrambled egg.

  • Arthur: And you! You knew about this and went along with it!

    Yusuf: I trusted him!

Arthur: You trusted him! What, when he promised you half his share?

Yusuf: No, his whole share. Besides he said he'd done it before.

Arthur: You've done it before? What, with Mal? 'Cause that worked so good!

Cobb: That has nothing to do with it. I did what I had to do to get back to my children.
