Batman and Benjamin: dark black, light black

Why let David Fincher film Benjamin? I am very angry. It almost ruined his idol status in my mind.
If you want to make the film darker, why not get Tim Burton? His fairy tale temperament just fits this theme. The original film is just a manuscript submitted by Fitzgerald to a science fiction magazine. It should have been a rambling story.
However, they found the screenwriter of "Forrest Gump" and David Fincher, who was good at realistic themes, and finally wiped out its aura completely and became an American version of "My Life" in a sci-fi guise.

The 81st Oscar nominations have been announced, and "Benjamin Button" received 13 nominations, while "Batman The Dark Knight" missed the best picture award.

Born out of time!

This year's Animated Annie Award awarded the best feature film to "Kung Fu Panda", but "WALLE" actually failed. Some Chinese film critics complacently think this is the "Olympic Year" effect, but I don't believe that Americans are so poor and short-sighted.

I'd rather believe that people tend to "laugh better than cry" during a recession.

"Benjamin" is a heartwarming film. Even if David Fincher made it black, it was just a light black at best. "The Dark Knight" is a cruel story that points directly to the darkest corner of the heart. At a time when the Obama-style American Dream is in vogue, it deserves no Oscars.

Who else could interpret an entertaining character as deeply as Heath Ledger?
His performance made all the previous clowns superficial. That's right, including Nicholson.
Heath Ledger made the Joker truly unsurpassable.
This is the best Batman I've ever seen. No wonder it once outscored The Godfather on IMDB.

The light is close at hand, but out of reach at the same time.
The Joker so easily "takes the best of us" when everyone, including Batman, thinks the new prosecutor will be the ideal in town. The knight of light becomes a two-faced man, and the angel becomes the companion of the devil.
The darkness is buried deep in everyone's heart, no matter how weak, once it is ignited, it will become a prairie fire.

Joker asks the passengers of the two boats to hold each other's detonators, but both boats give up. Maybe the director doesn't want everyone to be more desperate. But I guess if someone presses the detonate button, it must be himself that explodes. This is the joke of a joker. This is the most primitive evil hidden in human nature, the evil that Batman cannot drive out.

I admire creators who dare to face the weakness of human beings.
There is no need to deliberately describe nausea (such as Sodom), as long as it is a bland record of real reactions at the moment of life and death, it is enough. For example, The Seven Deadly Sins.
It is true sin that hides people's faces and teaches people to sigh.
Because we all know that the sinner is ourselves.

A very connotative part of the blockbuster, whether it is the uneasy resonance of people’s secretly surging in people’s minds towards the madness of the Joker, or the heroic sympathy for Batman’s lonely night-walking hero, it is actually people’s disappointment in this world. A kind of emotional release. In fact, the Joker is right. He is very similar to Batman. They are all different. But Batman keeps the pain for himself and stubbornly adheres to a trace of faith, while the Joker returns the pain to the world.

After making up for a year of Meiman, I came back to watch the Dark Knight, and finally understood why the classics are always new. If you haven't read Batman, you can't understand Batman's principle of not killing, if you haven't read Joker and deadly jokes, you don't understand that Batman and Joker are two sides of the same coin. This movie has a huge background threshold (Nolan’s understanding of Batman and the Joker is amazing), the long and short comments under the entry are basically nonsense, mostly just on the surface

The Dark Knight quotes

  • [Gordon and the police arrive to arrest Maroni in a restaurant]

Salvatore Maroni: You sure you wanna embarrass me in front of my friends, Lieutenant?

Lt. James Gordon: Oh, don't worry. They're coming too.

  • Harvey Dent: You can *not* leave me alone with these people.

Rachel Dawes: [during the fundraiser party held for Harvey Dent] The whole mob's after you, and you're worried about *these* guys?

Harvey Dent: Yea, well, compared to *these* guys, the mob doesn't scare me.
