I really seldom watch the movies of the fighting nation. I watched Amway on the movie channel before and decided to enjoy it. I didn’t expect to be unexpectedly popular by the Russian brother!
Although this is a sports movie, I think it is more like a youth inspirational love song and dance. The heroine has a miserable background. She has been inspired to become a figure skating champion since she was a child. Hard training is indispensable. After all, she is a fighting nation. After the physical disability, he returned to the ice rink.
This film is indeed somewhat similar to "Wrestling, Dad", but I think the cruel competition part is much less, and the emotional part occupies most of it. Although it is not as inspirational as "Wrestle, Dad", it is still a good film with laughter and tears. All the laughs are borne by the male protagonist, although he is cheap and ruffian. Rough, but he is really cute. Under his sleazy appearance, he has a pure, kind, brave, and interesting soul. If I were the heroine, I would have to fall in love with him without hesitation!
The film also seems to imitate the style of Indian films, and starts singing and dancing at every turn, but the singing is quite pleasant and interesting, adding a lot of vitality and comedy elements to the film.
There are not many tears, but I still shed (my tears are relatively low anyway) [covering face]. But overall the movie is good and worth watching!
