After watching this movie, you can appreciate the talent of Paul Thomas Anderson. Hippie culture comes from the bottom, drug abuse, indiscriminate killing, seeming to do no evil, but in fact, the heart is pure and kind and persistent. Hippies fight against this ugly world by hurting themselves, but they will not hurt others, they will love. Those well-dressed upper-class people, but because of money and status are full of lies and do no evil, they sold their souls in exchange for wealth, naturally they don't understand what love is. The perfect movie, the script, photography, editing, music and actor Joaquin Phoenix are all impeccable.
