The picture is beautiful, and the original comics are superimposed with layers. I am not a professional, I just feel that the realism of the background caters to the hand-painted lines and presents the sense of history smoothly. As for the changes in several picture styles, they appear at important plot nodes, allowing people to quickly digest from vision to perception. Scenarios and characters' emotions can be restored to the greatest extent. In the end, the death of Ethel and Ernest, one used a lot of depiction, the other only used a freeze frame. You can't seem to cry, but you are clearly crying.
But a good story is always the first priority. Yes, the water runs smoothly. I hummed "Red Bean" unconsciously, thinking of the people who used to be by my side. It is often empathy, after all, the story is an ideal, who doesn't want to go to the end with their Ethel. A piece of history that everyone in the world seems to know a little bit about, some stories that everyone seems to have experienced, some fantasies that everyone has, and some realities that we don’t want to see in the end. Maybe I am not qualified to see life that far. Then I can only look forward to the long stream that belongs to me through their stories.
