I have been watching PR for five or six years. From the regular season to the All-Stars, the host has come and gone, the judges' aesthetics have fluctuated, and even Tim will no longer host. Netflix's new program probably wanted to take over the class of Tianqiao, and also decided that there was no competition for this type of program, and the hosts were Tan and Miss Zhong from Fanxiong Rescue.
Looking at the first season, there are probably a few feelings: rich, loving, fast. Compared with the more traditional and formal flyover, the new show is small, and the stage lighting arrangement is gorgeous every time. (Although I feel that sometimes it is not relevant), the guests invited are also big names. The editing is very fast, and I sometimes suspect that I have opened 1.5x speed at normal speed.
Two people are eliminated directly in each episode. The runway usually takes 20 episodes. Now it has been directly reduced to 9 episodes. It feels like even the time for quarrel is rushing. Maybe it is because there is not enough time to tear it apart. The most harmonious European and American variety show outside Art Master! I'm not used to it. After all, this kind of variety show is actually a major attraction of interpersonal quarrels! Another difference from Tianqiao is that the contestants are almost all designers who have already debuted or even a little famous. The fixed team mode in the early stage also made the interaction between the players relatively limited, and there were hardly many horses. The players who came to the end were like gods fighting and all of them worked hard and earnestly. No one was willing to leave. In particular, the East Asian team, South Korea's Minzhu and China's Chen Anqi, are the most harmonious and tacit understanding of all the teams. Just from the editing, I can directly feel the tacit understanding and respect of my friends for many years. The other team members are holding each other's breath. They murmured in secret words that only each other could understand, especially the hamster called Minzhu awsl. Both of their works are also very distinctive ('▿') (It is not ruled out that they are deliberately filmed and stereotyped) Summary In other words, fashion-forward variety and professionalism are not very good because of the time limit. In the flyover, there is no link to grab the fabric with limited budget, and the uncertainty of random combination is not [disappointed], which is in line with the shortness of Netflix's variety show.
What I like the most is the stunning appearance of the final product on the stage, the concept of the preliminary design, and the tips session of the two hosts in the middle... that's all.
