Just a little puzzled about the plot arrangement of one scene. On behalf of the child, Cha Taixian went to tell the child's mother to make her strong and not fall down. When he saw the child's mother struggling so painfully in the hospital bed, his first reaction was not to call the doctor, but to finish his words and leave the ward silently. And I don't really understand why the child doesn't go to cheer up with his mother, but chooses to let a stranger instead of himself hand over the mother's painting that he has worked hard to draw into the hands of the mother. I feel like the plot is too deliberate.
