sadness, not emotion

I don't remember how long it has been since I watched a Korean movie. The last time I watched it seemed to be "Love Has Providence", and it also seemed to be "Eraser in the Brain". Although Korean movies are not as sensational as Korean dramas, they can always seduce my cheap tears. I heard about "Sad Movie" last year, but never thought to watch it - the name is just to make tears. However, I downloaded the OST of the movie two days ago, and it was quite refreshing, so I decided to watch this sad movie.
It really is a sad movie, I almost cried like a pig when I watched it at 2:30 in the morning. The structure of the film is very similar to that of "Love Actually" in the UK in 2003, with several short stories interspersed. The difference is that "Love Actually" has a happy ending, while "Sad Movie" has a separate ending.
The movie is known as a touching masterpiece in Korea in 2005. In fact, this movie is not a masterpiece at all, except that the cast is strong enough. There is nothing new about the 4 stories, it is nothing more than a fresh and elegant movie sketch. Since there are 4 stories, the last half hour of the 107-minute movie can be regarded as the ending. People who didn't want to cry, after watching the ending for half an hour, when they see the sign language I love you, A few tears of sadness will inevitably be shed.
The development structure of the four stories is somewhat similar. They all start with contradictions, then happy, and finally end in tragedy. This kind of structure caused me to cry out in my heart when I saw the ending, there must be a couple who will be happy. But the ending can be imagined, completely sad.
Korean movies and TV seem to pay special attention to weather changes, often windy, rainy and snowy. The four short stories in "Sad Movie" ushered in their respective endings on a rainy day. All are tragedies, each with its own sadness. I like that sweet Shin Min-ah the most, and choose to meet her frankly in front of her lover. When Cha Tae Hyun said those words of breaking up in front of the mirror, I couldn't help but laugh at his cute expression.
While the movie earned me tears, it made me feel pretty comfortable. Except for the ending part of the movie, there is not too much sensationalism. I can't stand sensationalism. I watched the domestically produced "Warm Spring" last year. After watching it, I almost gritted my teeth.
Overall, this movie is worth watching. The film is very delicate, and Korean films always pay attention to details. Girls should cry when they see it, but they are sad, not moved. Each story is too small, too small to be touched.
