The movie is too cruel. Jane Austen is too cruel.
Every woman, or a woman who is tortured by poverty, is probably the same. She wants to find a handsome, rich, very gentleman who understands herself and loves herself. In the end, she finds that the men around her are ugly and poor.
Mr. Darcy is the conspiracy of our collective poor women. He fulfills all our fantasies about lovers and marriage. But my mother was right, "All fiction ends with marriage, and the real story happens after marriage."
I don't deserve to be Jane. Not to mention her talent and beauty, the key is to not have her bravery and stubbornness.
"Would you like a fate like mine? Funny" Jane asked.
No, I am afraid. I'm afraid to take the blame from the world, I'm afraid to take the blame from the people I love the most. I don't know what the sister in the film thinks, but I only know that if it was me and my sister had a chance to be happy, I would definitely let her go. I'd rather she couldn't write a masterpiece, because I want her to be happy more.
Maybe my choice is more selfish.
I hope my future self has a very strong self, and even if I marry someone who is not so satisfied, I hope I can treat him well and love him. I hope we are not too poor and have a bookstore that belongs to my bookstore. I can dream in it. Even if you wake up from a dream.
We really love to dream! I know how many ordinary people there are in the world, and I know how much I have, but I still imagine that someone will appear and make me the princess of my dreams.
Can have dreams. But I'm not a big fan of Jane Austen's arrogance and vitriol. Maybe, as a movie review wrote, talented people aren't too cute. Then I don't have talent, let alone pretend to be arrogant. To be honest, Jane Austen is too difficult to get along with.
She always looked down on those men. You know, being looked down on is really impossible to have love.
Just like the last words she wrote to funny, listen to your heart and make choices that you can accept.
But just live.
