Actually, I am not very satisfied with the ending of the movie... it seems like the author had no way to dissolve the crisis but use spirit as a suddenly falling-down method.
Not only the final method to save the earth, the whole movie pays much attention to the immaterial part of people, such as desire to buring and using positive determination.
The burining desire is not charactered as evil quality but a natural things, and the principle of the burning people (never kill people randomly) also shows this unique kind of people who have different desire should not be blamed for their natural desire. However, those "normal people" with some special wish that can not avoid hurting people plays negative role.
The attitude of the movie to people's natural immaterial part is positive. They seem to belive the natural desire is not the cause of evil. We should find some way to release it correctly instead of inhibiting it. The former is also the way out crisis, for the eruption of crisis(in the movie) is only a kind of desire(burning completely) of the creation of another space. The leader choose to inhibit the burning desire is just choose a wrong way at first( as he himself is a represece of inhibiting desire, and this choice seems to warping his characteristic).
And when we turn to the right way to solve the crisis, we can find the movie hold the view that the correct way out is not bulit up on pain of people but something that conform to people's desire, don't cause painful feeling.
Now I want to go back to the beginning, we can see the burning characteristic is burst out through people's emotion(positive emotion), this seems to remind us that material can not appear without spiritual or emitional parts.
The unique standpoint-combime material with immatirial things and see the latter as a motivation, so the fundemantal things is focus on immaterial parts.
I was not very clear about what to write at first but comb it into a more logical order gradually when I began to write something...but I just too lazy to rewrite it, so just take this random one as a record of my thoughts .
