"If You Are the One" is generally a somewhat sentimental middle-aged romantic love drama. The comedy taste is relatively light, so it looks more literary. The joy and laughter of the film are mostly conveyed through the iconic Feng Shijingbai. This kind of warm comedy was rarely seen in local Chinese comedies in the past. Its advent and its development in the past ten years should be regarded as Feng Xiaogang's unique contribution to local comedy. Chinese comedy films are not well developed. As a unique film genre, it has never gained enough room for growth due to various reasons. But even so, we can still see a number of comedy subgenres that have been spoken of by later generations today.
