Going abroad seems to be about the same (except for ideals and aspirations).
But what's the use of having ideals? The professor relies on you to make money. If you don't cooperate, what's the use of the professor keeping you?
Doesn't the professor just play cards every day and sign his name on the paper?
Academia is business, and learning is business.
The professor is the boss, you are just an employee.
If you cooperate honestly with your boss, it's easy to live comfortably.
But if you want to stay famous, you still have to stick to your ideals.
