Film review:
This movie can be included in Stephen Chow's top 10 classics. I've watched it countless times, and it's still so engaging. Although I already know a lot of the plot, I still like to watch it.
To say that I feel different is that now I am talking about the conversation between Chen Jinnan and Xiaobao who just joined the "Heaven and Earth Society": "Those who have knowledge have become officials, and these people outside, who have no culture, have to use simple slogans. Just talk to them. Reverse the Qing and restore the Ming, just like the meaning of Amitabha Buddha.” This is quite a classic in this passage. It is only now that I deeply and truly understand the meaning of simplicity in it. I just finished reading the book "The Crowd", and I felt even more touched. Everything is business, it depends on how the chips are. I think of a professor who understands the teacher's sharing of his plan: Know what you have, know what you want, and what you can give up for what you want.
