A bunch of idiots do nothing needlessly

I couldn't watch it at the beginning. A horror movie actually made people angry, and it didn't feel so scary. There was a deep sense of stupidity. A group of people savaged Guo's house in a wild place. They were unfamiliar with the place of life. They dared to go to a place that is not on the map. Are they planning to die there? Wearing a flip-flop is the same as going to a resort. Expedition is not like this, right? Is there a hotel lobby manager waiting to be greeted? And the characters in the middle, especially Amy, feel very annoying and familiar. Too stupid, sure to die, no suspense, as to the process of how to die, there is no interest at all, people feel that there is no need to know, anyway, they are also annoying to die. It is said that he died very disgusting, so it is correct to quit after seeing the beginning. A bit of a bad movie with no logic. The characters are shallow, empty, selfish and hateful, and people can't wait for them to die sooner. It is rare that there is no character in the whole movie like this that makes people feel good.

The Ruins quotes

  • Jeff: [grabbing a water bottle from Stacy] We should save this.

    Eric: Hey, she's thirsty.

Jeff: I know, it's just that we don't have that much.

Eric: Well why do you get to decide Jeff?

Jeff: Okay, well we can all decide. But just keep in mind that each of us needs a half a gallon of water every day just to survive. And right now, we don't even have a day's worth.

  • Jeff: One of you has to go.

    Amy: Go? Go where?

Jeff: Down. We're going to check the rest of the rope and make sure it's secure, and then one of you...

Amy: [interrupting him] Why do we have to go? Why can't you or Eric?

Jeff: Because you're not strong enough. We need to work the crank.

Stacy: [after a long pause] I'll go.
