At the beginning, I was misled by the plot introduction, thinking that it was two incidents that happened at the same time. On the one hand, three people were trapped in a stairwell that would never end, and on the other hand, a family of four encountered ghosts hitting the wall on the road. It is a time line that can be connected, the first 35 years and the last 35 years. The protagonist is Daniel on the road (the first 35 years) and the policeman in the stairwell (the last 35 years).
The turning point was the 35th year of being stuck on the road. Before his death, his stepfather told Daniel not to forget his name and not to get in the police car, but he didn't understand it at the time. In order to get out of the predicament, he did it anyway. In the first 35 years of his perseverance in the predicament, he began his tragic last 35 years. In the virtual world, he was trapped in a stairwell until he died, and in the real world, he murdered and committed suicide. In the 35th year of being trapped in the stairwell, before he died, he finally remembered his former name Daniel, and remembered his first 35 years, so he also warned the other person who was trapped in the stairwell who was experiencing his first 35 years, but The admonitions remained unheeded, and another tragic last 35 years began.
Through the last flashback of the real world segment, it can be guessed that what every person who wants to understand before death wants to express is that only by persevering in the virtual predicament, not forgetting himself at the turning point of the 35th year, not to get rid of If you succumb to the temptation and abandon your persistence in the first half of your life, you will have a happy life in the real world. On the contrary, the second half of your life will slide into the abyss uncontrollably.
There are still some details that I don't quite understand, but the general idea should be like this. The movie is quite innovative, and I really can't understand it if I don't watch it carefully.
