If you cause an accident, the same thing will happen to you.

Occasionally swiped on Weibo and saw this movie, and when I saw the word trapped, I immediately clicked in.

Seems to be interested in such dilemma films, like Groundhog Day, which are time dilemmas where the protagonist is stuck on the same day. "The Night the Comet Came" belongs to the dilemma of time and space.

"Unexpected Space" is a spatial dilemma, trapped in the same space, on the road, and in the stairs. But time passes.

Of course, discussing this type of film is of course beyond the logic of the real world.

Although "Accidental Space" is about two separate space dilemmas, in the end we know that they are actually connected. The little boy Daniel in the road scene is the policeman in the stairs.

The beginning of the predicament is that a character is on the verge of death, which triggers everyone in the predicament to find a way to escape the predicament until they are trapped in the predicament for 35 years.

The main characters in each dilemma:

Boatman: The first half of my life was stuck on a never-stop train, and the second half of my life was trapped in the sea.

Ruben (Robert): Trapped in the sea for the first half of his life, and on the road for the second half of his life

Daniel (Detective Mark Antonio): Trapped on the road for the first half of his life, trapped in the stairs for the second half of his life

Oliver (Carl): The first half of his life was trapped in the stairs, and the second half of his life was trapped in the corridor.

Bride: The first half of her life was trapped in the corridor, and the second half of her life was trapped in the escalator.

Of course at the end of the movie we know it's just a parallel world.

Dilemma scene: on the train, at sea, on the road, in the stairs, in the corridor, on the escalator.

I want to analyze this movie from a psychological point of view.

The troubled world is actually our subconscious

In the road scene, the red-clothed fat man Reuben (Robert) was in a difficult world, drinking all day, car shock with his old wife, unable to enjoy life, and finally died tragically. Quarrel with wife in real world, get divorced, get beat up in bar, find prostitute. Finally committed suicide in the bathtub.

In the road scene, the little boy Daniel, because he maintains a good routine every day in difficult times, the energy and happiness generated will also affect the real world. In reality, he grew up slowly, fell in love, graduated, became a policeman, got married and had children, and was accompanied by a wife and three children. Life was smooth sailing.

The policeman in the staircase scene eats and sleeps, just like living in a prison. In reality, the two brothers who were caught were not convicted, but when they returned home, they saw their wife cheating, so they shot and killed Pharaoh. As a result, they spent most of their lives in prison and committed suicide after being released from prison.

The younger brother Oliver (Carl) in the staircase scene, because he maintains a healthy schedule, so in reality Oliver joins a mutual aid group, falls in love, gets married, has a wife and three children, and his life is smooth sailing.

The subconscious world is just getting by, so the real world is also miserable. The subconscious world struggles to survive, and the real world lives wonderfully.

The real you and me are somewhere else where they are happy and we are stuck in hell forever, the subconscious generates energy and happiness, not only physical movement is important, emotion is also important, it takes human sacrifice to wake up Accidents, young people can spend 35 years better, continue to live, enjoy life, and in real life, will be happier than when they were young. Because of the physical and emotional advancement, young people can leave, but old people are forever trapped in the past because they can no longer enjoy it, we will not forget the past,

Several objects appear throughout the film:

Red Notebook: Like a Pandora's Box, as long as it is opened, it will make people forget their original self, thus becoming a new identity, causing an accident to one of the members in this scene and eventually death. We see a lot of accidents happening as if the protagonist seems to be doing it on purpose. Like the boatman pushing the little boy, Robert breaking the asthma medicine, the detective shooting, and finally Carl dropping the bee and throwing the bag. In fact, in the predicament world (that is, the subconscious world), because human sacrifices are needed to wake up accidents, young people can spend 35 years better.

Hamster: It seems that all the people in the scene are like the hamster in the cage, they keep running forward, but they can't run. The stairs scene doesn't seem to have any hamsters.

An accident in the past is unforgettable, and the accident is forgotten in the subconscious, but if you cause an accident, the same thing will happen to you.

At the end of the film, the hamster got out of the cage and seemed to explore forward, and we are just like this hamster, do we insist on ourselves or forget ourselves?
