Before the film was released, all kinds of campaigning movements began. From the network to the media, re-engineering. Ideas like what the future of Chinese comedy films are, and so on, were ingrained in my mind before I watched this film. It is true that a campaign is necessary. After all, many people are so anxious to watch this movie because of the rising tide of the campaign, but when the campaign pushes the height of the movie to a too high level, after watching the movie of people will have a very serious sense of disappointment. If it wasn't for those surging momentum before, maybe, after watching this movie, I would have become a new founder. However, because of the vigorous campaign, after watching this movie, we can only be disappointed involuntarily. Not because the movie was bad, but because the movie didn't reach the heights we expected. There is only one reason for this consequence, and that is the too violent temptation ahead. In my opinion, it's a very good movie, and an excellent movie that was killed by a campaign.
Disappointment, and finally completely crushed me when I finished watching the movie. Speaking of black humor, if this movie is the hope of the future of Chinese comedy movies, I would rather choose Feng Xiaogang's "Big Shot" in 2001. Even if it's not very funny, at least it forms an extreme irony in the layout. However, watching movies should always be somewhat more objective. Putting aside these rallies, I would like to say that this is actually an excellent domestic film. If Ning Hao is only regarded as a traditional director rather than a hope for the future of Chinese films, this film is already invaluable. In my opinion, it was those turbulent campaigns that killed this movie and killed this Ning Hao in "Crazy Stone". Why should I be disappointed. This is the movie that should have surprised me.
Back to the movie itself. Ning Hao is a very hardworking and talented director. For example, the so-called cumbersome opening that my friends were very disgusted with was precisely one of my favorite parts of this movie. One thing is explained from three perspectives. My friend said that this part should not be described in such a protracted manner. because of repetition. As far as I know, this technique is often used in literature, especially in novels, but it seems to be less common in movies. Even if there is, it seems that there has never been such a long page to express so humorously. And is this whole paragraph just one thing? I don't think so, this passage tells three stories or even more than three stories. The first is Xie Xiaomeng chasing the girl on the cable car; the second is Brother Dao’s group stealing under the banner of a moving company; there is Bao Shihong secretly using the car in the factory to learn to drive; and the assistant of the acquisition company against the walls to vent their anger; in the end it was the crash that tied it all together. My friend saw the crash, but I saw the ones behind the crash. How can so much information be packed into such a small space without feeling crowded? In my opinion, the so-called cumbersomeness mentioned by my friends is very concise and concise. This paragraph almost explains the character characteristics and background of the most important characters in the whole story. This section is actually very concise and important. Without this paragraph, the following sections may use longer pages to illustrate these. Of course, the repeated use of this technique in the crash at the back of the film looks much worse than this one. Whether it's the necessity of repetition or the tension released by the segment itself, that segment is like the creator's own over-infatuation with a certain technique.
A director who can integrate the most information into the most concise way to express it should have been successful. In this regard, Ning Hao is quite outstanding. Why do I say this is an excellent movie? Because of Ning Hao. A good director may not necessarily make a good film, and without a good director it is absolutely impossible to make a good film. The script of this movie should not be so good. After all, this story is full of too many coincidences. When black humor is enough, who can believe the authenticity of the story told behind this movie? Of course, maybe what we want is not the so-called authenticity, but if a movie makes us feel real and moving, will such a movie be better? That's why I chose "The Big Shot" so many years ago as my hope for a Chinese comedy film instead of this "Crazy Stone". After all, to a certain extent, the probability of the story in "Big Shot" is much higher than that in "Crazy Stone". Even if that's not true, at least it's possible. Black humor is far superior to mere black humor at high probability. The so-called madness, jade is just an innocent carrier. Whether it's lying under the dazzling lights in the exhibition hall, or being worn by Bao Shihong on his girlfriend's neck, whether it's a stone or an emerald, it's actually the same innocence. Isn't there an old saying: "Every man is innocent, but he is guilty"? Pifu is indeed innocent, but Bi, isn't he also innocent? Only the mad and greedy people are guilty. As a green and clear stone, jadeite is still a stone in its essence. Always quiet, always unpretentious. It's just because people give it the kind of value that makes it precious. Aside from this artificial point of view, jadeite is actually worthless. The movie also seems to want to tell us this truth. During the process of watching the movie, I kept thinking about what kind of way this jadeite will end up in the end, but I never thought that the jadeite would be washed away in the end. All the fakes became real fakes and wore on a little woman's neck, and she spent the next years in the kitchen fumes. Maybe it's nothing to think about, after all, it's just a stone in the kennel. To be able to stagger on a woman's chest for a lifetime may be the most beautiful dream of this jadeite in the Maokeng era. It comes from peace and quiet; after all, it also belongs to peace and quiet; the prosperity in the middle is just a dream, after waking up from the dream, whether everything can only remain the same. Maybe it's just a matter of fate. Joining the world is a predestined relationship; taking refuge is also a predestined relationship. After passing through these crazy appearances like summer flowers, maybe it's just a sad Zen philosophy. In my opinion, because of the tone, it looks like the movie becomes bleak as a tragedy. Like Bao Shihong's prostate, the unpleasant urine is so sad. And finally, when you can laugh happily in front of the urine pocket, how can such a laugh not be desolate. Laughing requires a long and mournful quest, and when it was finally obtained, that kind of laughter was as sad and lonely as when the two armies were left alone after 300 rounds of battle on the battlefield. Many times we kept struggling, and finally we found out that what we want most is nothing but the most ordinary and bland things. At this time, when we look at the fallen comrades in arms and the former enemies around us, how many people can feel that is a real pleasure. Before Bao Shihong suffered from prostatitis, he would never understand that it was definitely a rare happiness to be able to stand freely in front of the urine pocket and sway from side to side. Reflecting on the past, it is actually a very sad feeling.
Fortunately, I'm still healthy enough to laugh a few times while watching a movie, and finally scold those campaigners. Instead of holding back, or wanting to scold but unable to scold. It's one of those movies where the rocks in the kennel turn over to sing, and the mad people sing their self-proclaimed songs in a chorus of chords. In fact, excluding those chords, the lead singer's voice is very nice. In fact, I am such a person, I am bored watching movies. After watching a movie, I always get used to tsk tsk a few times and then go to sleep.
