From the very beginning, we knew the ending, and we knew that the kind and simple people must have defeated the unscrupulous profiteers and the thieves that everyone shouted at. It's like playing chess with a master, knowing from the beginning that you will lose.
However, do not know the process. I don't know what tricks Mike and Brother Dao will come up with, or how to keep the stone in the end. When I saw the factory manager's son stealing the stone, I guessed that the group of idiots would try their best to get it back. When I saw the police wanted Mike, I guessed that they would be caught. However, I can't fully guess the process, and I can't guess what will happen next. It's like playing chess, you can guess the first step and the second step, but you can't figure out the third step and the fourth step. I knew he had his eye on my horse, but had no idea how he was going to eat it. Sometimes, I guess wrong, it turns out that what he wants is not a horse, but a cannon. Just like I always thought that jadeite would go back to Zhao, and the factory would come back to life, but it didn't. It was only when everything was over that I suddenly realized that every step was intertwined, and there was a cause and effect. The director never wasted a shot, a line of dialogue, or a joke, all of which were actually seeds planted for the future.
In the end, after putting everything together and clapping the head, I have to admit that the director is indeed a master of storytelling. It is not completely unexpected, but it can whet the audience's appetite, and there can be a little humor and climax from time to time.
