"Nana": False rock dreams and vulgar love in the bones (Text: Vulcan Ji)
who ever told me. Rock should be grey, black, heavy, even dead. I do not remember. who ever told me. The film depicts rock music as well as underground band movies. I do not remember.
There are a few songs in the movie that just don't make me agree that this is a movie that depicts rock music. Maybe it's just to whitewash the peace, rock music in Japan is actually very popular, it seems that their rock music is much more nourishing than ours. Could it be because of those few rhetorical lyrics that seem to be vulgar, could it be that Japanese rock music has really degenerated into the kind of desolation depicted in the movie.
In fact, I just want to say that this is not the case with rock music, is it not that you can use that high-pitched tune to string a few freehand lyrics and a few ugly words like "stinky puddles", and it really becomes rock music. In fact, I would also like to say that rock bands are not really rock musicians with odd-looking hairstyles or a bit decadent or somewhat shocking makeup. To me, this seems more like a pseudo-rock movie that sings pop songs under the banner of rock. But in fact, how many people will really care about whether the movie is about rock and roll, maybe this is more like a movie about love or friendship, rather than a rock-themed movie. In other words, rock and roll is just a gimmick of this movie. After all, this is still a movie that wants to use rock and roll to reach a specific group. Maybe the original manga would look better. I think, after all, the things on the notes can't be expressed on a flat drawing paper in a very intuitive way, so, if it is called rock, it may really become rock. Since it's just a gimmick, maybe it's really a gimmick. That aside, this movie is actually pretty good. Boundless love is expressed as a dotted line around the superficial friendship, but what really needs to be expressed is still love as a dotted line.
The heroine Nana. nana. It is so heavy that it cannot be dissolved, and it is even sad. The dark, sunken eyeshadow, with a pale foundation and bloody lips. This kind of makeup can at least give people a sad illusion. At least you can feel that this woman is indeed alive with sadness. Slightly upturned corners of the mouth and sharp chin. It seems to be preaching the immortal dream and stubborn exhaustion of this weak woman, as well as the troubled and restless life. front. Aggressive; perhaps nothing but aggressiveness. Light a cigarette, forever tired and blank in the forever indifferent eyes. Indifferent enough that even the surrounding air began to diffuse a deadly gray. Indifferent eyes, a seemingly firm belief, and a pale face. Other than that, there seems to be nothing left.
There is another heroine also named Nana. Nana. Sunny, warm, cute and nagging. Love the nice shops and stay at home cooking and listening to the sheets and waiting for the beloved man to come home. The man asked her if you came to Tokyo from the country just to be a housewife; she would only answer silly, that it was all just for you. Hired for a month by a downturned boss for being cute, and then fired, standing in the torrential rain crying and waiting for a consolation that will never come. A woman who burst into tears when she suddenly saw her favorite idol.
A woman of the same year also named Nana, two women with two extreme personalities, met on a train bound for Tokyo. One to pursue her beloved singing career, the other to pursue the man she loves. go the same way. different way. cause. or love. Two women of completely different personalities running in the same direction; pursuing two radically different things.
"Nana". Tokyo in this film is set up as a dream place, or rather, a colorful dream. It's just that different people look different. And Nana, it seems to me more like the two extreme personalities of the same person are set up as two people, and they meet under some chance. So I became a person again. I'm thinking that maybe one of the biggest factors in the success of this movie is also there. Everyone is a composite of multiple personalities, and the most prominent part of all personalities will become our main character. Sometimes we fantasize about what happens when one of our personalities meets another. This movie satisfies our desires to some extent. If Nana was just one person, then maybe the movie wouldn't be worth watching. However, with Nana, there is also Nana. In my opinion, this movie is a fairytale and ultimate version of split personality. Two women with the same name in the same year with extremely different personalities. meet. Tokyo, two dreams in the same place. collide, or mutually support each other. I was addicted to my imagination. If it were just the story of Nana and Nana, the movie might not be so charming anymore.
A lot of times I always use Nana's identity to narrate, which is really suitable for this character. The nagging and fantasizing little woman is suitable for expressing any thoughts in her mind at any time. And Nana, always swinging in the camera with an indifferent expression. Nana always speaks about Nana. Broken families. Or a cozy cottage. Self-reliance. Or completely lack of assertiveness and dependence. Nana is the two women in this movie. Just because of the contrast everywhere and mutual support from time to time, this movie is close to the classic height in terms of character setting, even if the plot setting is the kind of common vulgar love story. When friendship becomes an appearance. Everything seems to be just struggling for so-called love. If I had cut out the last fifteen minutes, I would have thought that this was a very good movie, but the last fifteen minutes were so disappointing to me. When Nana finally accepted the lotus of the city. It's not that I don't believe in the love story told in the movie. It's just that when Nana accepts Bencheng lotus, it seems no different from accepting alms. Even though it was given a grand name similar to the breakdown of reason, it still made my appetite. Two years ago, when Lian Benjo gave up the band and love to go to Tokyo, in my opinion, this so-called love has completely died. As a typical example of a strong woman, Nana's determination to surpass Bencheng Lian's music career is not at all questionable. But it is such a strong person who finally accepted the love that should have passed away in a warm embrace. In my opinion this is no different from taking a nosedive. Emotions that have gone bankrupt and gone are revived. It was such a woman who could have parted ways with Benchenglian because she wanted a singing career because she didn't want to have children. It is such a woman who could stay in the country and insist on her beloved music and give up the man she also loves. There is no credibility to this. Maybe it can be said that life with Nana changed her. If I insist on this point of view, it may be said that I am completely captured by this film. But I can't really agree with that. I always feel that such an arrangement is nothing more than the most vulgar and beautiful pie given by the producer to please the masses. I always wonder why all stories have to have a happy ending to whitewash peace. Is it because we have become accustomed to accepting those seemingly happy endings, so the people who make movies are used to giving all movies a seemingly happy ending.
Maybe I'm not a very quiet person, so I'll be nit-picking and praying that Nana and Benjoren will break up successfully, and then I have a prayer that doesn't need a movie description, that Nana finally succeeds in realizing her Her own dreams surpassed the lotus of the city. But this ending may not have completely shattered my prayers, but it seems that I can already see a Nana who has become Nana. After Bencheng Lian came back from the concert, he brought him a bowl of rice and said, this is specially made for you. Perhaps I have overlooked a very important point, that is, when women face emotions, it seems that there is no way to be completely rational. But at least the appearance of Nana seems to have given me some kind of hope. After all, if there is such a woman, maybe I will pin my hopes on her. But now I see that it was just a supposed hope, and when this supposed hope was suddenly broken, I finally became so indignant that I started to rant.
Nana is the character of a little bird. Her disappointment in love seems to be a bit of a pity, or it may be said that she is being treated badly. Nana and Bencheng Lian were finally matched by Nana, maybe it was the misplaced thinking deliberately created by the movie. A woman who should have been pampered fails to find her love in Tokyo. A woman who only wanted to develop a singing career in Tokyo suddenly became a happy little woman. Misplaced, totally misplaced. The lotus flower on Nana's arm was still blooming sadly, but at the end of the movie it looked a little bit more coquettish.
I love the cutscenes of this movie. Memories and reality are haphazardly arranged in those sequences of shots. Snow in the north and rain in Tokyo, it all looks beautiful. The last shot of the movie is towards a window full of sunlight. The movie should be a rising sun full of hope, but I saw a declining sunset. After the movie, the sun is shining. After my film, it seems more dead and dark.
This movie gave me too much false hope. So too much hope can only be followed by more and more heavy disappointment. Nana is everyone's hope, including her new band and Nana's dream. But in my opinion, Nana is no longer hope. Love will make her weaker and weaker.
Bencheng Lian said that when he retired, he would take Nana back to the old warehouse where he was originally abandoned and grow old together with her. Nana sitting in the bathtub looked weaker than Nana. When she grows old, she will follow Benchenglian back to the place where they left in the first place. Or don't have to wait until she's old, I think. I've wondered what this movie is ultimately trying to convey. But the more I think about it, the more confused I get. Chasing dreams, but misplaced to find something other than the dream. So what exactly is a dream? now I understand. In fact, outside the camera, watching from the sidelines, I have nothing. The so-called rock, music, and dreams are all packaging models used by this film to bury the already flooded theme of love itself. In fact, this movie is not about dreams, not about friendship. It's only about Fengyue. Whether it's Nana or Nana, women, after all, just find a reliable man and spend the rest of their lives in the kitchen. This is the machismo at the heart of this movie. In my opinion, this city lotus is really just a little white face, even if it has already become famous. Nana, Nana; Nana. In fact, it is a symbol of women. Or it's just a lens symbol to express this kind of machismo in the movie.
A friend once sent me a message out of town at 4 o'clock in the middle of the night to recommend a movie for me to vomit blood. At that time, after watching the movie introduced by a friend, the feeling was similar to this one. I don't want to say anything more about this movie, other than the editing that gave me a little surprise. Women who play rock are still women, and love is always the best medicine. depressed.
