Although my best friend is the former president of the school animation club, I have never developed any hobbies in this area. This time, I also watched the live-action version of the movie directly. It is said that NANA's manga fans have always been dissatisfied with the movie, some thought that some actors were poorly chosen, and some thought that there were no key plots such as 707 taboos in the adaptation. In order to have a say, I read NANA's manga. In fact, in my opinion, NANA's film is well adapted, removing the funny plot in the comics that weakened the two NANA's personalities, and taking into account the overall nature of the story so that people who haven't read the comics can understand the plot. The drastic cuts in film adaptations are sometimes necessary cuts, after all, films and texts are different forms of expression. What's more, the most important thing in this movie is the choice of the protagonist. NANA has done a good job at this point. I am especially surprised that Mika Nakajima can play Nana in such a similar way: she has a slender body without feeling dry. Short black hair and smoky makeup, black tank top, collar, bracers and boots, only a red lotus on the arm painted the color. There is often no expression on the cold face, but occasionally smiling, it will bloom like a flower with a startling warmth. Nana's warmth is hidden deep in her heart most of the time. And when she carried the guitar proudly and freely and walked among the crowd, only stubbornness was written in her eyes. Such Nana, how can people not feel distressed. And Nana, my friend Shu couldn't help shouting "so cute" when she saw her for the first time: pink pink pink, her eyes full of pink are her hair accessories and clothes, smiling eyes like a crescent moon, pouting expressions and coquettish eyes The voice, who is so unintentional and loves fantasy, is like a pink bubble, light and beautiful but can't help the wind and rain.
So, I admit that I have never been able to keep Nana and Nana on my scales, although I will smile at Nana's innocence and cuteness. Looking at Nana's strength and delicacy, I hear the echo of the soul. It's not surprising that Yazawa Ai set the tone at the beginning of creation: two NANAs, with completely opposite personalities, have always supported each other. The film's alternate title, "The Other Me in the World," addresses this more directly. Therefore, almost all readers or viewers will tend to attribute themselves to one side when they watch NANA, although few people in life can make the characters so distinct and extreme as two NANAs. If I had to categorize it, I don't think I was Nana, but I still looked up to Nana. People who know me may also say that I am more similar to Nana, but I know very well that Nana is much more forbearing and tenacious than me. Sometimes when I look at some bridges, I think of those women in Annie's writings, such as Lan, such as An. Really, Nana is undoubtedly such a person. That fiery red dress, that lock, that piece of cake, that cool girl who shines on stage, will be so quiet and content in love. It's just that Nana's self-esteem and ambition will never allow her to curl up under the brilliance of the lotus with her eyebrows down, and live with her husband and son. In the scene in front of the elevator, she fell to her knees and cried bitterly. I knew so clearly why she wept so deeply. "When one day I'm old, my ambition and vanity are all worn out, and I'm tired of music, can I go back to that house again?" Nana, who is so proud, said these words so carefully, she heard Ah, such a difficult and hesitant compromise makes any language empty and powerless. If love is a bond, Nana is the one who chooses to leave the bond behind and move forward, no matter how painful it is to do so. With a low eyebrow and a shallow smile, or more often cold silence, Nana in the movie is full of flesh and blood, unforgettable.
