About the countryside: When I graduated from junior high school, I also went to my hometown with my sister to live in the countryside for a week. I thought it was a lot of fun. Fishing for shrimps every day, going to the market, cooking beans and soy milk, watching the performances invited by the children after the death of the old man (a local custom), and finally, reluctantly, my grandfather called me back home.
Regarding the elderly and grandchildren: Now, there are occasional situations similar to those in the movies. The grandchildren do not do housework, and in the eyes of the elderly they are not diligent. Children are immersed in the world of the Internet and cannot extricate themselves.
