The alternate county magistrate Bao Longxing is rather greedy, but he is fairly honest. Qi Qin was married to a wealthy businessman as his wife, but was molested by Chang Wei, the son of a dignitary. Qi Qin did not kill Chang Wei, killed the entire Zhang family, and put the blame on Qi Qin. Bao Longxing found something strange, but was also framed by Fang Tangjing and others and fled to a foreign country. On the way to Beijing to complain, they used up their money and Xing had to do odd jobs in a brothel. He saw that the proprietress was very good at scolding and arguing, so he secretly learned and practiced a kung fu that can bring the dead back to life. Some of Stephen Chow's nonsensical funny films are only to win the audience's smile, and do not emphasize very rigorous logical relationships, but the setting of the funny plots in "Nine Pin Sesame Official" is full of subtle foreshadowing. The content of the story echoes before and after, making the whole film's hilarious scenes interlocking and endless. Watching "Nine-Pin Sesame Official", the audience can feel the director's overall ability to grasp the development of the story, and Stephen Chow's well-rounded performance is the essential lubricant for these plots. "Nine Pins of Sesame Official" was filmed in the heyday of Stephen Chow's film career. Compared with some later films that were deliberately "playing deep", this film can better reflect the skills of Stephen Chow's "nonsensical" movies. It is full of the most primitive needs of the audience when watching Zhou Xingchi's movies: to enjoy movies with connotation piled up with jokes.
