The movie 21 years ago, both the picture and the plot were great. Because it involves predicting the future and channeling, there are some images of the stream of consciousness. Although the heroine has some mysterious talents, she is not portrayed as a perfect person. She has shortcomings and weaknesses, and she does not believe in herself so much. Instinctively, there was no force to stop her husband from going to work, so the death of her husband was a pain she avoided talking about. She raised three children alone, because she would fortune telling for the people in the small town and rely on donations from the people in the small town to survive. She is kind and principled, so she has helped many people and caused some troubles. For example, the domestic violence boy Downey has been harassing and threatening her and her children with her destroying his marriage. The heroine has not been portrayed so much. She would be afraid of Downey’s intimidation, and could not help being attracted by the handsome male teacher. When she was exhausted, she would not be able to care for her desperate friends. After fortune-telling that Downey was not the murderer, she did not hesitate their grievances and tried to get the court to retry the case, which led to being targeted by the real murderer male teacher. In the end, the little angel Buddy relied on the power of the soul to help her escape the death. What poor Buddy said he was free, turned out to be freedom from the flesh.
