Given enough time, impermanence will appear

I like the faces of Wang Jingchun and Yong Mei, they are the faces of two typical Chinese people: Wang Jingchun has always been frowning in the movie, with a dark face, thick eyebrows, small eyes, and habitually drooping eyelids; The face plate, the light eyebrows, the light sadness, even her voice and movements are light. Throughout the movie, I was led by these two actors. I could not feel any trace of their performance. They fit in so perfectly with the characters. They walked, ate, and talked. They cried, laughed and laughed. Turning around will convince you.

There is a scene: when we are young, the sound of firecrackers outside the window and the noise of children playing are endless, and Wang Jingchun and Yongmei are sitting in a deserted room-the child is gone, and all the joys of the world are gone. Wang Jingchun had his legs spread apart, his head was slightly lowered, and he smoked silently; Yongmei sat on the other side, leaning against the wall, her body slightly slumped, her hands clasped together, and she fell into a kind of endless sadness. The apprentice played by Qi Xi sat on the sofa and looked at the two of them, and time became extremely stagnant here. The fire from the firecrackers outside the window lit up the room, and then went out again. My favorite in the movie is this scene, endless thoughts, hidden in everyone's heart, but unable to express it, this is the sadness of life.

I can't help but think of my parents from the characters played by Wang Jingchun and Yongmei (the couple in the movie are contemporaries with my parents, and their children are the same age as me), their fate is related to this country Tightly bundled together. The fate of individuals fluctuates due to the drastic changes of the times, but they do not think that their joys and sorrows are changed by a greater force. They didn't even dare to think. They can only silently accept the heavy punch that hits them, silently pick up the broken pieces of life, and stumble forward for the rest of their lives. "Forbearance" and "boil" are the common way of life of this generation. Wang Jingchun and Yongmei, the expressions on their faces showed these two words.

Wang Xiaoshuai has a saying: "If time is given long enough, impermanence will appear." Especially when people reach middle age, this feeling will be very strong. Nothing lasts forever: everything is changing, factories, brothers, children, and love will all be lost in the same way... And this sense of loss is most evident in the character played by Yong Mei , she lost her child, lost her job, lost the ability to have children again, and later even lost her adopted child, and even her husband had a "situation" with others. She didn't make noise, she didn't protest, she was all in her heart and tasted the endless bitterness of life. Then she didn't even want her life anymore. I was deeply moved by this role, and that sense of hopelessness can be said to be "long and long".

More than two hours of film, when I watch it, I have mixed flavors. When the film was about to end, Wang Jingchun and Yongmei went out to worship their children. Wang Jingchun put on his down jacket, Yongmei zipped him up, and when he pulled it, it got stuck, and then he continued to pull... I don't know why the tears are wet here - the so-called "supporting each other" is just like that. They can't lose each other anymore. That's what good actors do, walking convincingly into their characters in every detail. I sincerely hope that they can have more good works.
