Writing is better than quality

The biggest problem with the movie "Confucius" is that it lacks a basic description of the process of developing Confucius' ideological tolerance. From the beginning to the end, what I see is still a "human" who is infinitely close to the divine. If Confucius has been sanctified due to limited historical data and continuous deification, then movies (including other artistic styles) can at least make efforts to explore its "from man to god". Otherwise, we might as well read the "Analects of Confucius" in middle school textbooks.

Chow Yun-fat's performance is considered to be in place and restrained, but the mediocre narrative ability exposed by the director and screenwriter in the listing of events makes the film uninspired and tedious. From Huangsandu to being expelled to exile to Huilu, the director exerts even force and lacks relaxation. I only see events, not "people".

Stunt scenes are not our forte, and art clothing is nothing more than a modest decoration. The shortcomings of Chinese blockbuster selection of ancient costumes and stylized styles are fully revealed in "Confucius".
